Chapter 21: Battle of Cursed Energy, Electricity, and Speed

No One's POV

Currently Y/N and Megumi are on the same floor as Touma's dorm room as Y/N is search his school bag for the Level Upper, but to no avail.

Y/N: Come on. Come on. Damn it!!

Megumi: Calm down. I don't know what a Level Upper is, but you need to cool it.

Y/N: How can I!? The Level Upper is gone! I was going to give it to Kuroko and Uiharu so they can study it!

Megumi: Then calm down. Whoever took it is already gone, and right now you need to focus.

Y/N: *sighs reluctantly* Right. But who would've taken it.

Megumi: Did you tell anyone about it?

Y/N: I only told Kara about... It..... No way.

I say as I realize that I only told Kara about the Level Upper.

Megumi: Maybe it was her.

Y/N: It can't be, not after the commotion from last night!

I say to him knowing that it couldn't be Kara, especially with how chaotic it was last night.

Megumi: But it's still a possibility. Who else could it be?

Y/N: It could be her.

Megumi: Who's her?

He says in confusion as I decide to tell Megumi about what happened at Seventh Mist on the same night that he and I met.

Y/N: Have you heard about what happened at Seventh Mist?

Megumi: Yes. Someone bombed the building and Railgun prevented the explosion from killing anymore people.

Y/N: Well that's, somewhat true. The explosion was stopped from killing me, Kara, Mikasa, Uiharu, and Kana. But it wasn't Misaka who saved us, it was someone else.

Megumi: And who is this person?

Y/N: Hell if I know. She was wearing a brown cloak around her body, I think she had pink clothing, as well as a white mask with two corned coming out.

Megumi: So you didn't get a good look of her face. Did you see where she went?

Y/N: No. She disappeared into nothing. Haven't seen any trace of her ever since. But I've had a feeling that I was being watched ever since coming here to Academy City.

I say as Megumi puts his hand on his chin as he thinks.

Megumi: So she's not leaving any signs on where she is.

He then looks at me as he then speaks up and asks a question.

Megumi: Have you heard about the Battle of Gods?

Y/N: I've heard a bit of it, but not much. Seems to be a touchy subject for a lot of people.

Megumi: You've only been told on how the fight started, but as it progressed two more gods showed up.

Y/N: Two more? You mean it wasn't just the first two!?

Megumi nods answering my question as he puts his finger to his lips and continues to talk.

Megumi: Keep it down. No one knows much about everything about the battle, only knowing how it started. Those of us on the supernatural knows that there was more to the fighting. At some point after an hour the fighting started two more gods entered the battle, but no one knows who they were or where they came from. After the battle ended they disappeared, a long with the first two gods.

Y/N: So the masked woman maybe of the two other mysterious gods?

Megumi: Yes. But the real question is why would she take a device from you?
