No One's POV
After the healing magic was finished, Miss Komoe put Index and Y/N down so the two can get some rest. The next morning Touma returned to to Miss Komoe's house and found Index awake and Y/N still asleep. Once Touma sat down in front of the window seeing Index in Miss Komoe's pajamas.
Touma: Ok, so let me get this straight. Miss Komoe is a teacher here in Academy City, she a bona fide beer-drinking, chain-smoking adult... How on earth can her pj's fit you?
He says as he sees Index in Miss Komoe's bunny pajamas.
Touma: Wouldn't the age difference between huge.
He says as both Index and Miss Komoe pout at him angrily as Index then speaks up in an upset tone.
Index: You shouldn't talk down to people. Plus they don't fit that well, the chest area is way too tight.
Miss Komoe: Hey! After what I did your making fun of me!?
Index: No... I wasn't...
Miss Komoe: You just what?
Index: It's nothing.
Miss Komoe: I am an adult!
Just then the three hear Y/N groan as they turn to look at him as he sits up.
Y/N: Can you guys please quiet down. I have a splitting headache and I don't need to hear yelling in the morning.
Touma: Hey, your awake!
Y/N: What did I say about yelling.
Index: Are you alright?
Y/N: Yeah I just feel like shit. John's Pen wasn't kidding that using magic would mess with me.
Miss Komoe: It's good to know none of you are hurt, but I have a question for the two of you!
She says as both Y/N and Touma turn to look at Miss Komoe as she points to Index.
Miss Komoe: Who is this girl to the two of you?
Both Y/N and Touma try to think of something to say without mentioning magic as Touma is the first to speak up.
Touma: She's my little sister.
Miss Komoe's gets even angrier at Touma obvious lie as she then begins to yell at him.
Miss Komoe: Your the worst liar ever! Just look at her, she has silver hair and blue eyes and you don't! Tell! the! truth!
She says as she has her hands on her hips and glaring at Touma.
Touma: Before I tell you, can I ask you a quick question?
Miss Komoe: *annoyed tone* Fine.
Touma: We do tell the truth, will you report her to Academy City's governing board?
Miss Komoe: Yes. I don't know what kind of trouble the two of you are in, but I can tell it's something serious. For goodness sakes, Y/N's left arm has a 1st degree burn on it! And now that I know, it's my duty as faculty member and a responsible adult to report it to the authorities.
She says as the two of us look at her with worry as she then kneels in front of Touma. Y/N then looks at his left arm and sees bandages wrapped around it to cover the 1st degree burns.
Miss Komoe: whatever it is, it's obvious that the two you are in over your heads, so how can I sit back and do nothing when my students are in danger.
Touma: if you're a stranger we wouldn't hesitate to involve you in this, but you've done so much we can put you in danger.
