IT WAS NOW January 5th, 2025. Which meant it was Walkers 16th birthday! These past few months have been a whirlwind for both Walker and Evelyn. The couple is currently in vancouver, filming season 2 of Percy Jackson. Most of the cast was home for the holidays but Evelyn pursued her mother into letting her stay with the Scobells for new years.
Anyway, right now it was 8am and Evelyn was decorating Walkers room. She had hung up streamers and balloons of different shades of blues. As she quietly stepped down from the stool and backed up to admire her work, she knocked down a small stack of books on his desk.
"Shit!" She whispered-yelled as she scrambled to pick them up. The sound of the books hitting the floor was loud enough to wake Walker. He stirred awake, trying to figure out what happened. Evelyn froze, holding her breath, but it was too late.
The boy sat up and rubbed his eyes as he mumbled something incoherent. Walker looked up and saw Evelyn standing there with a guilty look on her face. "w-what's going on" Walker asked, his voice groggily.
"Happy birthday!" Evelyn smiled sheepishly. "I was trying to surprise you but i'm not as stealthy as i thought." she shrugged and let a chuckle. "What do you think?l She asked her boyfriend. "You did all this for me? He asked, admiring her hard work. Evelyn nodded and walked over to his bed. "Of course, you turn 16 once, white boy."
"This is amazing, V. Thank you." He said softly, his eyes flickered down to her lip then back at her eyes. The brunette noticed and smiled, she placed her hand on Walker jaw and leaned in to give him a small kiss. After a few seconds she pulled away. "You're welcome," She smiled as Walker blushed slightly. "Just making sure you have an amazing 16 birthday.
Walker smiled, "Well so far you are succeeding." he said softly. "Oh! I forgot I have a little something for you." Evelyn said, she got up and grabbed a gift basket she had made for him off of Walkers dresser. She placed in front of him? It had oreos (obviously), deadpool funko pop, and some other goodies.
