EVIE WOKE UP TO the soft rustling of curtains and the sound of her door opening. Evelyn heard footsteps.
As she started to sit up, suddenly, Walker jumped onto her bed with a playful shout, causing Evie to let out a surprised squeal and fall off her bed.
"Suprise!" Walker yelled.
Evelyn let our groan of pain as Walker laughed. "It's not funny you jerk!" Evie yelled as she smacked him with her pillow
Walker laugh even a harder. Evelyn rolled her eyes on the and sat on her bed.
"What are you doing here so early?" She asked, reaching over to grab her phone.
"I wanted to be the first one to wish you happy birthday," He smiled. He leaned over and planted a kiss on her forehead.
"Happy birthday, V."
Evelyn smiled, "Thank you, but your third, Walker." Evelyn showed Walker the text on her to see a Birthday message from Leah and Lacey.
"Oh what the hell! I knew I shouldn't have told them i was coming !" Evelyn laughed at his reaction. "Guess i'll have to settle for being the first to give you a present." he said, grabbing something from his pocket and pulling out a small ring box.
Evelyn eye brows raised slightly. "For me?" She asked the blonde. "For you."
Evelyn took the box and opend it, a golden heart shaped locket in the box. The curly haired boy stared at her as he tired to read her expression.
Evelyn started at it in awe. "I love it." She said, gently taking it out of the box and holding it up close.
"Open it."
Evelyn looked at the boy then back down at the locket in her hands. She opened itz One size had a picture of her, Alex and her dad in it and the other with just her and her dad.
Evelyn felt her eye start to water as she stared at the locket, A sad smile appeared on her face. Walker saw a tear fall down the girls face, his faced drop.
"Wait i'm sorry. I- I didn't mean to make you cry, V. I'm—"
Walker was cut off by Evelyn wrapping her arms around him almost making him fall back but he caught himself.
"Thank you." She mumbled into his shoulder. Walker felt a smile on his face, "Of course, V. Happy birthday."
The two hugged for a few seconds before Evelyn let go of the embrace and looked back at the blonde in front of her. "Can you put it on me?"
Walker nodded. Evie handed him the locket and turned around so he could put the necklace on.
Evelyn turned back to face him looked at the necklace. "Thank you, Walker. I really do love it." Evie cupped his face and planted a quick peck on in cheek.
"Your welcome." The two teens stared at each for a moment before Evelyn broke eye contact. "Uhm, we should probably get ready. Busy day today. Tess and the rest of the girls are taking me out of Breakfast."
Walker nodded, "Yeah I should too. Me and the rest of the guys are taking Alex out too." Evie smiled at him. "Okay. I'll see you later."
Walker returned the gesture. "Bye, v."
