Hannah's POV

An hour and a half later, we all arrived at the beach for Eddie's party. He had a huge house, I mean giant. He had his own private beach! Everyone was hanging out on the beach, and a few people were inside for an almost more intimate party. If you know what I mean . . .

The night was warm, and closer to the house the music was pulsing through the gyrating crowd. Closer to the shore line it was darker and less crowded. The night was young and I could definitely see the possibility of some hook-ups in the near future.

Vikki started scoping the crowd, looking for Andy. It was time to enact our plan. Sammie was looking pretty nervous and twisting a strand of hair that had fallen out of her up-do. Jill tried to be reassuring, saying, "Sammie, don't worry. You look amazing!" And she really did, with a tight skirt that showed off her sculpted butt and a loose flowy shirt, so that she didn't look like a slut. Everyone, then noticing Sammie's distress, all started chiming in with words of encouragment. "You're hot! You got this girl! We all here for you!"

"Ok, I've just spotted Andy -- let's recap. Jill, you keep Andy where he is and make sure you are the only one talking to him. Macie and Georgia, you two secure the perimeter. Hannah, you provide moral support and make sure she keeps lookin' good. I'm gonna get the DJ to play some more interesting songs." Vikki smiled evilly -- she loved planing things like this. "Ok everyone three. One, two, three, BREAK!"

We all went off on our assigned duties. I looked at Sammie one last time to make sure she looked perfect for Andy. I tucked in a few hairs here and there and tugged on her outfit to make it look right. She was all ready to go.

"Hannah, I'm nervous," Sammie admited. I smiled at her reassuringly.

"Don't worry at all Sammie, just act like you always do with him. You two will fall into a casual conversation in no time. And before you know it you'll be making babies!" Sammie laughed and I could tell she was already becoming less nervous.

We walked in the direction of where Andy was standing, trying to look as if we were casually mingling around. It would be best if Andy noticed Sammie first. I was scared he wouldn't, for Sammie's sake. I was pretty sure he would, but by now I was almost more nervous than Sammie. When we walked near enough to Andy, I notied Troy was standing a few feet away as Macie and Georgia handled the crowd. Not that they needed to, though -- Troy seemed to be handling it all on his own, with a giant crowd of girls around him. It was more like Macie and Georgia had become apart of the crowd instead of keeping them away from Andy.

Even Jill was falling out on her duties and staring at Troy intently as Andy talked about some skater thing. I mean, I couldn't blame them. Troy was wearing swim shorts, a muscle shirt, and a browm pair of flip flops. I mean DAMN; he looked good! I didn't even know his muscles were so big, or that they could be so big.  How many ripped nerds do you know? I almost forgot about Sammie and the plan for a moment, and it looked like Sammie forgot about Andy too.

Luckily, Andy immediately perked up when he saw Sammie and called her over. "Hey Sammie, Lookin' good!" and she snapped her attention from Troy.

"Hi Andy. Thanks, you too." Sammie smiled at Andy, and he smiled back. I looked over at Jill and we both smirked knowingly. Mission = complete. Now what to do . . .

I could feel Troy's stare to the right of me, and when I looked over at him I was startled to see him smile and make his way in my direction. The throng of girls he left glared at me, including my friends, before dispersing to enjoy the rest of the party. I looked at him more closely and noticed that he seemed happier tonight -- more in his element. It was a comforting thought.
