Mystery's POV

I look down and clenched my fist actually amazed by how this works. Imagine how many years of research they must have needed to be this advance. One simple helmet can bring you into a game. All your body movements, emotions, and senses all get transferred into a virtual game.

You see, just a week ago Kayaba Akihiko maker of these NerveGear helmets that can let you be in a virtual reality, released a game called SAO, short for Sword Art Online. It's a game with hundreds of levels and basically you beat monsters with swords and other weapons. A boring game, right? Well, my friends begged me to test it out so now I'm stuck here. I walk around the 1st floor, whatever it's name was, to explore.

I yawned realizing that it was getting a bit late and I should log off. I opened this main menu with a simple gesture and scrolled down to where the log-out button was supposed to be at. I grabbed this tutorial book in my back pocket of my jeans and found out the location of the button. However it wasn't there. I worriedly glanced through everything in the menu and continued to find nothing. Panicked, I try to contact the support team on there but it was somehow disabled.

In a sudden flash I felt my body being transport somewhere. I landed on the ground of a city plaza. Suddenly, tons of players came teleporting there too. What is going on? Some sort of welcoming ceremony? Suddenly I saw this big flashing thing go over us like some type of force field. My eyes glanced down on everyone until I saw a big red hooded figure appear seeping through the cracks. He started a speech about not able to escape the game and when we die, we die in real life. Panic soared through my body along with all the others. I couldn't wrap my head around this. You got to be kidding me, right?
