Mystery's POV

I stand by the doorway with my foot against the wall waiting for Whisper to get here by now. Surprisingly just as I thought that she walked through the door. She turned her head to see if I was following. We got sat at a small table in the corner and a server asked us what we wanted to drink. I simply asked for a water while Whisper asked for something exotic that I couldn't name. The waiter looked at us and then suddenly seemed to realize something.

"You must be a couple! Why haven't I noticed before? Well then, best wishes to you both!," he said while walking off to get our drinks. I just sat there stunned at the man's words. I slightly look over at Whisper, you could obviously tell she was extremely upset. Though she started to calm down after a while when the drinks arrived. Like the awkwardest person in the world would do, I sat in silence.

"So uh.. what made you wanna play this game?" Whisper asked as she took  a sip from her drink and ran her fingers threw her hair.

"My friends wanted me to test it out for them. You?," I replied after taking a sip from my drink.

"Not really sure. Just wanted to try it out..." she replied.

"Cool," I said and then looked at her for a bit. I was about to speak but the waiter came by to let us order our food. I got something pretty plain and simple and forgot what Whisper ordered - again. The waiter walked back into the kitchen to tell the cooks our order.

"So, you like playing games or was this game just eye-catching to you?," I asked her.

"Depends on the game. This one seemed to be interesting since NerveGear was new and all.." she said, pushing her hair to the side of her head.

"Oh," I chuckled while smiling. The waiter finally brought the food out. He took a glance towards my direction and a glance at Whisper's direction. He blushed noticing that he was staring at her while I just sat there like an idiot. Whisper looked at him, smiling from her eyes and grabbed her knife, almost threatening him. I looked at him and then back at Whisper with wide-eyes. She got her knife activated as a weapon and was almost gonna activate a sword skill until the dude ran, dropping the plates on the ground.  She smiled and deactivated the knife.

"Well, it's getting late so I better head home. Nice seeing you again though," she smiled and winked. I watched her walk out of the door and then I walked out too. I rented a pretty cheap motel for the night and laid down to get some rest for the night.
