Puddle Jumping

Whispers POV:

I woke up with a big stretch as I pushed the covers off this crappy bed. But Mystery's pretty cheap anyway... I looked over at my side to find him watching me like a hawk. "M-MYSTERY!? Have you been watching me sleep...?" I said face palming. His cheeks went bright red like that have been doing recently and he seemed to wake up from his little 'trance.' "I-I wasn't watching you...I just woke up," he stuttered. "uh huh...." I said walking to the bathroom to get dressed and cleaned up before we headed out. As I walked out I rushed to the windows to look outside, I pulled open the curtains and let out a sigh as rain came pouring down. "really...." I said laying back on the bed looking up and swishing my feet around. "Beautiful...the rain isn't it?," Mystery said looking at me than at the rain drizzling down the window. "Beautiful!? No its not! We can't do any thing now!" I said still staring at the ceiling. "Yes we can! The rain is perfect to go puddle jumping," he said with a smirk. "Puddle jumping? That is pathetic!" I replied, but some how I found myself out in the rain jumping in puddles. Mystery's hair was soaking wet from the rain and I laughed, splashing some water by him. He smiled then looked at me with a smirk, splashing some water at me with his hands. I put my hands out almost hiding behind them to block the water, but it was pointless I was virtually soaked. Although it felt real everything here did, our feelings, our world, our powers, even the lifestyles. "Hey Mystery," I said sitting under the rain shelter. "Do you think then when this game is finally over that we would still be friends? Just like in here?" I said looking over at him. Mystery looked down at the ground then looked back at me, he stared into my eyes and with a smile plastered on his face, "of course we will," he said. "I mean we shouldn't live too far away from each other" I replied, putting my hand out to feel the rain. "Of course not, the first release was only in a certain city, and you got that copy, same as me," he said, biting down on his lip, looking at me mysteriously, like he wanted to say something else.
