Ace was in awe at her new apartment. It had been fully furnished and equipped with basic utensils without her having to lift even a finger.

It was only three rooms, but that was more than enough for what she needed. She expected she wouldn't be home all that often anyways, just for dinner and bed.

The bathroom was super fancy, with one of those shower bath combinations pushed into the corner, sure the tub was half sized, but she'd never had one before. The thought of filling that thing with bath bombs and salts and fancy little bubble soaps made her excited, As lame as it was.

Even more, none of the taps squeaked or screamed when she turned on the hot water!

In the other corner was her bedroom, decked out with a loft bed, dressers tucked neatly underneath for her clothes and a desk pushed right up against the window. It didn't have a chair, or anything on it but she could easily grab one from the main room

The main room she had dubbed 'mega-franken-room'

It was her living room, dining room, kitchen, library and exercise room, the one room to rule them all.

"Shou, You're a legend." Ace states simply, smiling over at the emo kid in the corner.

Shou grins back, "I know, but tell me why right now?" He questions, shooting a wink.

"This place is sick dude!" Ace cheers, running around looking at absolutely everything, pulling open random drawers "dish soap! You thought of everything" she marvels.

Shou laughs at the scene "just wait till you see the toothpaste and brush combo we left for ya" he jokes.

Ace shakes her head and grins still. Her very own place, an apartment with her name on the lease. Something she had only dreamed about so far. She was so excited to decorate and cook and clean.

"And your clan member, Sasuke lives right over there." Shou adds, pointing through the right wall of the apartment.

Ace stops her pacing, grimacing to herself facing away from Shou. "Seriously?" She questions praying Shou just made a weird unfunny joke.

"Yeah! So you have someone close to you right next door." He smiles, seeming not to notice the tone in Aces voice.

She sighs dramatically, "I don't even really know the guy!" She exclaims, lifting her hands up to the sky dramatically. "We just look related so everyone's all like 'mm yeah ace and Sasuke, Uchiha clan, besties' and I'm getting so sick of it" she groans.

Shou laughs at her, enjoying the theatrics.

In the Hokage office she looked so cold, stiff and formal, it was reassuring to see that she was just a kid after all.

"Not to mention he looks exactly like my brother, and it freaks me out so much dude." She rattles on, words spilling out before she can really think them over.

Shou's ears prick up. "You have a brother?" He asks, his head tilting a bit. "Tell me about him" he requests softly, taking a seat on the beige three seater couch.

Ace glances over, quickly deciding to take a seat on the couch with him.

She tucks her legs up, leaning back on the arm of the couch to face the teen rather than face forward.
