Chapter 4 || Guide Uchiha

It was finally the day!
All of the tests had finally been concluded, and the doctors were satisfied with Aces recovery, finding that she had healed up with the help of their medical nin-jutsu in no time.
To begin with they assumed she would have lost some of the function in her right arm with how extensive the burns were when she came in, but as of today she was fully healed
Well, almost.
Her arm still had thick red lines running up to her shoulder. Scars they said would begin to fade or turn white over time. Though in all honesty, Ace thought they looked kind of awesome, hoping that they would stick around even faintly.
Like a bolt of lightning travelling all the way down her arm. One of the only positives that she could manage to think of.
The nurses had been kind enough to leave a change of plain civilian clothes for ace to change into. A pair of black shorts and a loose blue shirt. It was a relief to be out of the scratchy paper thin surgery dress. Though she had never really been too keen on the colour blue in clothes, she appreciated the gesture.
All of her belongings were splayed out on the bed, as ace looked over everything, taking stock of all the things she had to her name.
A burnt hoodie with a fused and melted right arm. She definitely wasn't leaving that behind.
A notepad and pencil the doctors had provided her with kindly.
And the bag Kakashi had brought with him on her big test day.
Turns out, Kakashi had brought in a bunch of books and scrolls for her to enjoy in her hospital room, books on the history of Konohagakaru, books on ninja arts and a few fiction books to kill time.
When he gifted this to her, she decided that if it came to it she would die for this man.
Although he had a bit of sass to him that wasn't always appreciated, she genuinely couldn't imagine how she would have settled in without his kindness.
Unfortunately for her, Kakashi wasn't the one that would be guiding her around the streets of Konoha today.
That honour was bestowed upon her new least favourite person. The one person so far that gave her major heebie jeebies. Sasuke Uchiha.
"Miss Uchiha, your escort is waiting in the lobby." A nurse states, poking her head through the doorway breifly.
"Thank you!" She calls after the nurse, who was gone before Ace even had the chance.
With a final glance around the room, Ace notices a small bundle wedged in between the bedframe and the mattress. A bundle she couldn't believe she had nearly forgotten about.
Prying it free she felt through it carefully. It was her envelope of grocery money. Unfortunately, it was still in her own currency, which based on the books Kakashi had given her, wouldn't be of much use. However she stuffed it into her bag anyways.
With all of her stuff gathered, the hoodie tied around her waist and Kakashis gift bag hanging off her left shoulder she begins making her way out of the hospital room she had called home for the last week.
