I awake, groaning as soon as I feel the shooting pain my head encounters. I slowly sit up and check my surrounding, my eyes sweeping the empty, yet spacious, plain room. My eyes move to the darkly shaded drapes that are open a little- letting in a tiny bit of light.
I glance down at the king sized bed I lay within, on the most comfortable mattress I've ever laid upon. My body twisted within the gray bed sheets that are wrapped around me messily.
"Where the hell am I?" I groan aloud while dropping my head into to my hands. Just as that sentence leaves my mouth the bedroom door creaks open slowly. The door slams loudly and my head shoots up to view the girl standing there with a huge smirk plastered across her face.
Wait, is this the rude girl from the cafe and banquet last night? Wait, was that last night? I swear it feels like I've been asleep for days now.
"You're up," the girl greets, yelling loudly purposely. I groan out as she continues that smirk.
The human beings that say loud noises and banging sounds are a myth to hangovers are dumbasses because every little sound hurts right now. I'm not even being dramatic enough.
"You're here? Why?" I question curiously moving the sheets from my sore body. She stares at me with raised eyebrows. Maybe offended by how I approached her, which was kinda rude.
"Good morning, and I am here! You're actually in my house and in my bed Alden," she modifies while staring curiously at me as she folds her arms across her chest. I guess she's curious as to what I am doing, which is looking for my bra.
Wait, my bra?
"How do you know...?" I question finally glancing at her trying to rack up everything that occurred last night. The only thing I remember was feeling sorry for myself about dating Sean loser ass!
"I know everything about you," she chuckles while throwing me a bottle of aspirins, which catches me by surprise. I sort of hot potato with the bottle for a bit.
"How—you know what I'm not gonna get into that because it was obviously creepy," I chuckle while still trying to remember what happened last night.
Shit, what did I get myself into last night?
"No, what's creepy is you telling me you are a martian. You also explained how you found your way to earth. I should report you to Area 51," She joke playfully as she leans against the door frame.
"They'll just send me back into the world due to how miserable my life is," I state honestly as I throw my legs over the bed and stare up at the girl.
"I hope not, you have balls dude. The way you kicked shithead in the nuts last night made me feel exotic," she teases but it only leaves me confused. I rub my head and birds nest of hair as I try to remember who "shithead" is.
My mouth forms into an "oh" as small snippets of that moment appear.
"Sean? I kicked Sean in the nuts?" I question shockingly—yet a bit proud.
"Yepp, Carla Esparza. You kicked him to the point where he had to puke," she chuckles while throwing a few punches into the air.
"Oh man, I wonder what tempted me to do that," I chuckle humorously as the girl stares at me with that same huge smirk plastered across her face.
"He fucking deserved it, he's a dick," she insults and I could do nothing but agree. I seriously can't blame the asshole. She throws a few more punches into the air quickly. She's actually pretty good especially with her stance and rapid punches she throws.
