Flight

22 7 4

Cold breath floating,
Flying and gliding,
Imagination roaming,

Mind free as a bird,
Careful and unsure,
But also happy and undeterred,

Soaring on make believe,
Wings fresh and without grieve,
Flight through the wonderful eve,

Far below, little figure,
Caution forgotten, courage now bigger.
The light growing dimmer.

Sun falling down,
Into the horizon without a sound,
Content and happy towards the ground.

Just think,
How you created this world with a blink,
And can destroy it with a chink,

A simple breeze, as you land,
Imagination just on hand,
Happy thoughts and hourglass sand.

One grain at a time,
Falling into endless grime,
Flight instead of climb,

A breath in the cold brisk air,
Brought you through these affairs,
Keep dreaming if you dare.

This is honestly my second favorite poem I have made in this collection, my favorite one is Cindy Lou Who, so check that out if you haven't already! Please vote! And comment!
