Icicles

Sharp fragile weapons,
Hang from the roof,
Sending poison darts to the ground,

Melting away the snow beneath.
A danger, a beautiful danger,
Cold and cruel as winter itself.

Snap, one cracks, shattered in the ground,
If I had been underneath;
Would I be here at all?
