Stampeded and patted down,
Snow hugging the ground,
Mumbles and wind fill the air,Secrets of winters past and winters now,
Float through the crisp season,
Told to any who bother listening,Soft and harsh,
Whispers of the snow and wind,
Careful and calculated,Not to be repeated,
Stories of criminals and warriors,
Cheaters and sad sullen children.Traded and shared,
Tales of good and bad,
But mostly; all true.
