186. Stone Cold Eyes

It was dinner time at Bran Castle. Azalea was sitting alongside her friends Vasile and Arielle  opposite her parents Erik and Aurelia around a round table. They were celebrating the return of her parents as her mother had prepared a feast.

Aurelia turned to her husband Erik as she was serving dinner to everyone "Why isn't Archelous coming down for dinner? Erik... Can you get out from the roof?"

Erik said "I cant teleport out of here... Me and you cant leave this place...This is our son's way of protecting us... Only these kids can leave..."

Aurelia turned to Azalea "Sweetie... Can you get your brother down here so we can dine as a family?"

Azalea shook her head "There is no chance that he will listen to me... He is busy right now.. " She turned to Vasile "Can you go up and ask him to come down? You are the only one  who can get him to come down.. He listens to you..."

Vasile turned to Arielle "I think an enchanter witch has a better chance..."

Arielle said "I am not going out there.... Are you mad? He is summoning the Sacred Diamond of Arkansas out of the depths of the Arkansas Volcano he just created... Do I want to be the one that he tests his Sacred Diamond weapon on if I upset him by disturbing him? No. I can feel his waves of rage. He is taking it all out on Arkansas by his spells..."

Azalea said "Oh... I can feel the hostile waves of power radiating everywhere from him... I dont want to feel his rage either for going up at the wrong time... Vasile... You can manage... Go..."

Vasile sighed "Fine... I go up... I am nice to the ladies... What can I say? My parents raised a gentleman..." He then teleported away.

Archelous was standing at the roof of Bran Castle as he was looking up into the skies . He closed his eyes and smiled as he whispered. "Welcome home the Sacred Arkansan Diamond... Success at last... I have conjured you from the depths of Arkansan Volcano....  " He then opened his eyes and looked at the massive diamond rotating above Bran castle. He said "You and I are going to have so much fun together... Finally you are home where you belong above Bran Castle..."

Suddenly Vasile appeared behind him "Archelous..."

Suddenly Vasile appeared behind him "Archelous... Its dinner time..."

Archelous said "So what?"

Vasile gasped as he looked up into the skies "Is that what I think it is? You did it? Really? I thought it was impossible...."

Archelous said "Nothing is impossible my friend... Nothing at all..."He then asked "What do you think I should strike first with this diamond I just conjured from my Arkansan Volcano."

Vasile cleared his throat " Its great that you got the job done... So can you get off the roof and make your way to the dining room? Your mother is requesting your presence for dinner so you people can eat as a family."

Archelous turned sharply to Vasile "Family? Only in name... My father has divided this family by giving his loyalty to Dante Ronas.... I can feel his waves of betrayal... He is committed to Dante' s cause... Dante imprisoned him and he still wants to go back and help out... He has tried to break out of this castle and I have blocked him.... I am lucky I turned eighteen before this fiasco started... What's next? He is going to hand over Bran castle to Dante?" Flames started forming around him.

Vasile sighed "Look.... Calm down... Hold it.... What are you going to do now? Ignore your parents at home? Your parents are your parents even if they dont agree with what you are doing... Come down and have dinner.... " He then cast a water spell to cool down the air around them as the flames were going up around Archelous and towards the Diamond. "The fire is going to heat up this place... The temperature will go up in Transylvania if you are not careful..."
