I'm glad it's a bird and not a person.

"That gave me a scare." I grumbled.

He nodded. "Could you hand me some gloves from the shed?" ,He more demanded then asked. I nodded and went into the shed. Rows of tools lined the wall and there was two red tool boxes.

Where's the gloves? I thought. I found a drawer and found a journal, gloves, and a pen. I shoved the book into my book bag and grabbed the gloves.

"Found them." I called up to Hunter.

He smiled and came down to get them. He looked at my book bag suspiciously. "What's in there?"

"Nothing, just a few of my reading books." I said as if he was dumb.

He sighed. "Alright but after I clean this up, Faith and Luke wanted to go swimming. I'm joining. If you want you can too."

I nodded and went inside. Right when I got in, and closed the door behind me calmly, I ran up the stairs to my room and sat at the desk.

I closed and locked the door so no one could walk in on me.

I opened my book bag and pulled out the journal I had found in the shed.

I opened the book and it was clearly dusty making me cough.

I began to read it from the very beginning.

' Day 1... love it here! It's a beautiful cabin. Me, Brandon and Donny are going swimming later in the lake. I wish I could live here forever. And we met the neighbor not so long ago. His name is Sebastiano. He said he walks miles from his house just to see the lake, I don't blame him. I would too. But I feel uncomfortable around him. Anyways, we are staying for a month and it will be my favorite of all the years. ...July 7, 1999.' I read. What neighbor? And wow, that's a quite a few years ago.

Someone knocked on my door.

"Leah, come on. Let's go swimming." Luke said on the other side of the door. I jumped and put away the book quickly.

"Alright hold on." I said back, finding a White bathing suit.
