Faith was breathing really hard. I don't think she was handling this well. There was so much caos around us. I had adrenalin racing through my veins, wondering who was faster. I could feel my ankle and ribs hurt, but as if I took a pain pill.
I have to get to a hospital, and so did Faith, even if she wasn't that hurt. If and when we made it out of here, the news will bombard us with questions, I think. Maybe they won't even care. Maybe we will go to the hospital, get cured, and go home like nothing happened? Another shot was fire, and went through Faiths window. She screamed and ducked, quickly followed by me. A rock layed still on the cars floor. Someone tried to hurt us with a rock. Seriously bro? SERIOSULY.
Faith sat up so confused as of why my window wasn't broken. "It was a rock. Not a bullet." I explained. Joel sat silently in the driver's seat, driving the car past trees and over the leaves and whatever else there was.
We came to a road! Yesh!!!! We took a turn onto the smooth roadway. Another car was behind us, but clearly had been on the road. They were speeding and came up next to us. He needed his horn. The guy looked like he was drunk, and just got his license. Joel sped up, ignoring the drunk guy. Sadly for the guy, a large semi was coming his way, and he was in the wrong lane. The semi beeper loudly and smashed into the car. The semi turned, and blocked the entire road. That could help us get away with a better chance..
We found a McDonald's. "Anyone hungry?" Faith joked. Me an Joel nodded and he took a sharp turn down into McDonald's parking lot. He parked the car and we all ran out of the car inside. It smelled like fries and a few frightened children ran from us.
We ran up to the cashier, pushing over a lady. I said sorry but she didn't even answer. Well then....
"My name is Joel, this is Faith, and Leah. We have been kidnapped and just escaped, you need to call 911." Joel said extremely quickly. The cashier called back the manager, who called 911.
The police were on there way and showed up. Gosh! I think we made it out!!
The police took us to their car. We got in, and explained what happened. They asked many questions and gave us advice. "Don't talk to the news people. Block them out, don't nod, don't give any information." She said.
"Oh, and I'm officer Saddler." The driver said. She didn't remove her attention from the road. The other person, a buff-like guy, introduced himself. "I'm officer Bill's." I nodded.
