I put on the bathing suit and headed downstairs, carrying two towels just in case. Faith smiled and waved for me to hurry up. I set down the towels on the ground and jogged up to Faith. "Ready?" She asked.
"For what?" I asked confused.
"This-" she said pushing me into the lake, it's was very deep suddenly and had no shallow water. I came up for air, suprised my feet didn't touch the ground, being so close to land.
I gasped, the water was freezing. "It's freezing." I said warning Faith. "I know." She said before backing up, running, and jumping to do a cannon ball. Next, Hunter and Luke came flying into then lake. We talked for a while swimming in place.
"Ya so A kept checking me out and-" She got cut off. "What the heck was that?" She said freaking out.
"What?" Hunter said.
"Something just bit my leg!" Faith yelled swimming towards shore. We all got out and helped Faith get up on land.
Once she was placed on the towel, we all looked at the leg.
It had one giant cut, luckily not deep, but as if she was cut by something metal.
"I'm pretty sure there's no swimming knives in the lake." Luke joked. I rolled my eyes. "Maybe you just cut it on a stray stick." Hunter said solving the problem. I guess.
"Yeah, well while you two retards are talking, my leg isn't getting any better." She snapped. I laughed, and ran inside. In the kitchen was a first aid kit, which I grabbed. I ran pass the living room window, and I swore I seen someone walking. I glanced out there, but I was interrupted by faith telling me to hurry up. I shook my head and jogged outside.
The cut was bleeding even worse now. "Sorry Faith." I said putting medicine and then a bandaid on the wound.
"It's fine." She said inspecting her leg. The guy were sitting at the picnic table, eating sandwiches.
"Couldn't you guys wait?" I asked walking with faith towards the table.
"You guys were way to slow." Hunter said through a full mouth.
Faith flinched in disgust. "Don't talk while you eat please."
I went over to the food side of the table and put together a delicious sandwich.
After eating, we all went inside to the air conditioned house. I sighed glad to be away from the heat. Luke plopped down on the couch and turned on the tv.
I glared at him. "What's the point of camping if you watch tv?" I grumbled to him.
" What's the point of camping when there's air conditioning, what's the point of camping when your in a cabin, and what's the point of camping when your on VACATION not camping." He said, making a motion with his hands at the word vacation.
"Whatever." I said turning on my heel and going upstairs. Hunter was laughing to death, because I just got 'burned'.
I looked out the glass wall of the second floor. A stray cat shot from one side of the woods to the next, tail puffed up. The cat was running from something, probably a other cat or possibly a squirrel. I sighed and went to my room. I needed to read more of that journal.
I closed the door silently and locked it. I didn't want anyone hearing my door close, and for her to come interrupt. I went over to the desk and pulled out the journal. I sat on my bed and read...
"Day 2,
Today was another great day. We had a cook out, and the neighbor, Sebastiano, attended. He sat quietly and told us stories on his past life. He was keeping something, and would pause in the middle of a story and remake a part. I could tell what he was doing, but it's none of my business. Donny and Brandon are out hiking now, and its 10:23. They left at 10, and hopefully they get back soon, because it's getting dark and you don't know what's out there in those woods. "
I closed the book at the sound of someone coming up the stairs. I quickly threw my upper body off the side of the bed and slid the book under it. I couldn't get back up and ended up falling off. The foot steps stopped and ran down towards my room. I could tell it was Faith. "Open up Leah, you locked the door! Are you okay?"
She shook the door knob. "I'm fine, I just fell off the bed."
"Alright, be more careful." She said walking towards her bedroom. I tried to untangle myself from the blanket but failed. I huffed in annoyance and swiped my hair out of my face.
After a few tries I got free. "Blankets." I said annoyed.
I picked up the book and put it back in the desk drawer. Way to many risks were taken today. I'll have to read at night."
I went to go take a shower, feeling the lake stick to me.

*Faiths POV*
Everyone was asleep, and finally I got my shower. I swear, people don't know how to hurry. I was laying in bed in my warm pjs when I suddenly got hungry. I got up and trudged down the stairs to the kitchen. The cabinet seemed so high up, so I just went to the freezer. I grabbed some Oreo ice cream, and put it on the counter. Someone knocked on the door.
Who would be HERE, even at this time of night? I opened the door, and it was a tall man, who looked extremely tired.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Can I come in?" He asked. I scrunched up my eyebrows and leaned on to one leg. I put my hand on my hip. "What makes you think I'd let you in here?" I asked.
He chuckled and tried to step in. But, I closed the door and locked it on him in time. I snorted and headed towards the kitchen to make me a bowl of ice cream. I heard feet coming towards me from behind. I swirled around and my face said hello to a chair.
I fell to the ground unconscience.
