Luke agreed. We all needed to escape, but it would be painfully hard, with our conditions.

The room filled with scratchy voices. "Please lower your voices, we can't have them knowing." I asked. They all lowered their voices but continued chattering. Faith was looking at my leg, thinking. She sighed and picked me up as good as she could. She handed me to Luke which I made me feel like a baby being handed off person to person.

"Okay first we are going to help Leah. Then I'll help those who need it." Luke said quietly. Everyone nodded. Luke told me to get in his back like a piggy back ride. I sighed, agreeing. Now I really felt young. My leg hurt beyond belief now. I held on for dear life, as Luke climbed the ladder.

Faith stayed back finding the next most hurt person. Once we reached the top, the sky was painted a dark pink and orange. Sunrise, already? Wow.

Luke sat down on the barn floor so I could get off. I crawled, with my arms, off away to the corner of the barn. Luke had disappeared down the hole to help more people.

Faith had them in order for going up, because she come up and joined me. She held out a hand to help me up. I leaned all my weight onto my good leg, my ribs creaked in pain.

I sucked in a quick, hurt breath, and when my ribs didn't hurt as bad, I breathed out. Faith smiled sadly and helped me stand and hobble towards the barn door.

We reached the doors, and one door was cracked open. Faith looked out their, cautiously. "Clear. But we need to hurry." She whispered. A few people where behind us, waiting to be free. Faith slammed the door open and ran with me. We were like a stampede. The house, holding Hunter and some other guy, came alive. Their front door slammed open and they yelled, to more people in the house. How many are their?!

About ten men came crashing outside in a chase after us. One man shot a bullet randomly at us, I think. The man next to me fell to the ground, dead. Crap.

We reached the woods and it became even harder for me to run. Luke came running towards us, from behind, and picked me up in one swift movement. "Luke!!!!" I heard a familiar voice. Luke came to a sudden stop and turned to look at the person who yelled his name. Faith was on the ground, crying, and yelling. Her ankle was twisted in a weird angle. Not the time for that.

Luke cursed under his breath, a the men were catching up and are now only twenty feet away from me. Ten from Faith. Luke rushed after Faith and left me here. So I pretended to act dead. Worth a try.

I layed still and held my breath every once and a while. A shot went off and Faith yelled. Luke fell to the ground with a gun shot wound in his forehead. NO!

Faith cried harder and tried to squirm away. A man placed his foot on her back. She yelled in pain. He laughed and aimed the hand gun at her neck.

I pushed myself off the ground and tackled him. He didn't expect it, I think. We rolled and I got the gun away from him. A different guy, with his scar on his cheek, came rushing at me. So I shot him.

I was very shaky and the guy under me was grabbing at my arm, so I hit him in the eye with the gun. He groaned in pain and I got Faith up. She was okay now, not crying any more, but I was positive that I had been crying through the entire event.

A few others came back for us the led us towards one of the bad guys car. We hobbled into the car and the one guy, that I had met in the cabin, started the car.

The car rumbled and with a few tries went forward into the path in the woods.

I sighed in relief, but we were still being shot at by the guys back there. And Hunter... One window scattered over on the passenger seat. Me and Faith were in the back.

We lost them at one point. And the others that had been taken. "I'm Joel." He introduced himself to Faith. Faith nodded, she didn't care.
