I was flipping through the channels on the tv. I knew I was on the news, because my entire family, even my family from Florida, that I never talked too, called. I decided to turn on the news.
There was a reporter and, behind her was... I squinted. Our house! This was live, too. Oh. I called my dad into the room and showed him. He went over to the blinds and looked out. A bunch of people were yelling questions.
"Maybe later, Leah, or any of her family members will come out and give us some information." The reporter said, glancing towards the house. I had only been here for one day. Faith is fine, besides for the shock of being in a dangerous situation that had killed her boyfriend. I gladly munched on my chips.
The only relationship I was in was with food. That's it.
Then a video came on the tv. It was of Hunter being handcuffed and shoved harshly into the police car, along with other guys. It showed body bags being put in the back of the ambulance, and so fourth. Mom handed me a sandwich. "Do you feel a bit better?" She asked.
I nodded, shoving the sandwich in my mouth so she would ask another question. She nodded, walking away.
I've never felt so happy to be home again, and I don't think I'll ever step foot in another cabin.
