*3RD POV*

Thor, Loki, Lady Sif and the Warriors three made their way through the dark forest which led to the Dark Elves Palace. All of them kept glancing around checking nothing was near them; So far they hadn't been attacked... They had seen no one.

Their horses stopped in front a set of stair... At the top of the stairs were Dark Elves just standing there looking down at the them.

"Why have you attacked my people?" Thor asked.

"I ordered it," A young Elf stated, he was dressed in fine armour and held a staff.

Thor and Loki frowned at each other. "You ordered to capture the Princess, how could you know she was here?" Loki asked.

The young Elf chuckled darkly, "I knew young Harper, such a sweet caring girl, a voice of pure magic," He began. "I made a visit to your Midguardian friends, 'The Avngers', I saw she wasn't there and I knew straight away where she was."

The six Asgardians were confused... How can he know all this?

"How do you know her Midguard name?" Loki asked; Only very few knew that name.

The Dark Elf laughed and shape shifted into Hela's brother... Austin.

"Surprise!" Austin grinned. "My family knew who young Harper was from the start, we took her in and we were going to use her against you once we got her on our side but my Father and Mother grew to love her like she was there real child, it was sickening. I drugged my Father and killed him but you had taken Hela, she wanted to be apart of 'The Avengers' so I had to arrange other plans, I killed my Mother and took my place here as King."

"She is just a child!" Sif snapped. "She is strong, she will never help you!"

"Oh no, no I don't need her anymore," Austin told her. "I just want her voice. If I can't get her to follow orders then I'll steal her voice."

"You will never get to her!" Loki raised her voice. "She stopped your warriors once, she can do it again."

"They wasn't even trying then, I wanted to see how good she was," Austin told them. "I will make it a fair war, I'll give you three days to prepare."

Suddenly a wave of smoke covered the Elves and when it cleared they were gone.

Loki kicked his horse and bolted back through the forest, with the other following close behind... Austin would not get his hands on Hela, he would not get her voice, not as long as he was breathing!

"Loki we will protect Hela," Sif told him.

Thor nodded. "Father is with her now, she is safe," He reassured his brother.

But what they didn't know was that the King was dead and now there was a new Queen...

*HELA'S POV*

I was sat on the throne; This was beyond weird I never thought I'd be Queen!

"My Queen," A guard came in and knelt down in front of me. "I bring news of the warriors."

"Yes?" I asked.

"They are on their way back, none are hurt," He told me. "They seem to be fine."

I nodded. "I want Guards waiting for them outside," I told him.

The Guard nodded and went out; They follow my orders so easily!

The doors opened again to reveal Esmond, he wore the high Royal guard armour and had the sword attached to his belt, I smiled and got out of the chair, I ran down the steps to him and hugged him tightly.

"That armour suits you," I told him as I pulled away.

Esmond smiled and gently touched my cheek. "Thank you my Queen," He told me. "I have heard the news, Thor, loki and the others are on their way back."

I nodded. "Yes and then I will have to tell them," I told him sadly.

He held my hands. "It wasn't your fault, the King was very old and it was obviously his time to leave us," He told me. "Odin gave you the power, he knows how strong you are. You can tell them, tell them exactly what happened!"

I nodded. "Thank you," I told him. "I'm glad you give me these little talks, you always know what to say."

He laughed lightly. "Well my Queen after spending a lot of time with you I know you rather well," He told me. "Like when you get emotional, it starts to snow." He looked above our heads.

I looked up and blushed, I waved my hand but Esmond caught it. "Come on it's make the room cold," I told him.

"It's beautiful though," He told me.

I smiled at the snow as it rested on our heads and faces. Esmond held out his hand and caught the snow, he looked at the snowflakes, he studied the patterns and smiled.

"They're all different," He stated and showed me.

I smiled. "That's because every snowflake is different, like people, none of them are the same, each flake is unique," I told him.

The gold door opened again to reveal, Dad, Thor, Sif and the three warriors...

"Hela are you alright?" Dad asked as he hugged me tightly.

"Dad I'm fine, I have sent some guards to watch the bifrost and the villages," I explained.

Thor came over to me. "Hela, the Dark Elves King is your brother Austin, I'm sorry," He told me.

I frowned. "What?" I asked in disbelief; How could Austin be their king?

"He and his family knew who you were from the start, they were going to use you against us when you trusted them but his parents grew to love you. Austin killed his Father then his Mother then became King of the Dark Elves," Hogun explained.

I ran my finger through my hair; I couldn't believe it, I didn't want to believe it!  How could he?

"Why?" I asked. "Why does he want me?"

"He wants your voice," Sif told me. "It's powerful."

My heart felt like it had been torn apart; The one person I thought would never go against me, would never hurt me, wants to take away my voice and kill my people...

I looked at Esmond. "We have a few plans at the ready," Esmond spoke up. "Are they planning on starting a war?"

"We have three days," Volstagg told me.

I nodded. "Esmond, tell the Guards to look for male volunteers to help, all must be able to fight. All Mothers and Children will be taken to one large building away from the palace," I told him, Esmond nodded and left.

"Where is Odin?" Sif asked.

I went over to the throne, I wasn't looking at them. "The King is dead," I stated and picked up the staff, I turned to face them. "He made me Queen!"

Thor, Dad, Sif and the Warriors three looked at one another then slowly knelt on the floor.

"Queen Hela we are at your service," Sif told me as she stood up, she gave me a wide smiled.

I nodded. "Thor, Dad, Odins body is still in his chamber," I told them. "I made the room cold to preserve his body so we can say our goodbyes together."

Thor stood up and hugged me tightly. "Thank you Hela," He told me. "Thank you for doing that"

"He has faith in us," I told him. "We will win this war, and we will do it together!"

I just wished I wasn't going against Austin...
