Chapter 21: The Return To Earth!

*Hela's POV*

My Dad, Rosabelle and I were stood in front of the bifrost, we were saying our goodbyes to the warriors three, Sif and Thor.

"Stay safe Hela," Sif told me and hugged me tightly.

I smiled then pulled away. "Take care of Thor," I told her.

Thor hugged me. "I'll prepare Jane and create a portal in the next few days," I told him.

"Thank you Hela, you have done our realm proud!" He told me then looked at Rosabelle, "Take care little one, you will like Earth it is very strange but you will have fun."

I picked Rosabelle up as Dad and I stood in front of the portal, he took me hand in his and we travel through space... Like a flash of light we were in New York, outside of Stark tower. I smiled up at the building, it felt like forever since I had been here!

"Is the magic here?" Rosabelle asked.

I smiled. "I guess it is," I told her and took her inside.

"Harper, you have returned!" JAVIS stated as I entered the building.

"Hey JARVIS, long time no see!" I greeted the IA.

Rosabelle was looking around. "What was that?" She asked me.

"I am JARVIS," JARVS told her. "I am a computer system."

"Wow," Rosabelle whispered.

"JARVIS can you take us to the Avengers please?" I asked him as we go into the lift then I changed out clothing to something more normal.

"Of course Harper," He told me.

Rosabelle looked around the lift curiously and clung closely to me as the lift went up. The doors opened and I walked down the corridor where all the Avengers were sitting with there backs to us.

"I thought you guys were supposed to be saving the world?" I asked loudly making everyone turn to look at me.

"Harper?" Clint asked.

"I'm back," I told him as I placed Rosabelle on the floor and ran over to him.

Clint hugged me tightly, then I hugged Natasha, Steve, Bruce, Tony, Pepper and as I pulled away I looked at Peter and smiled sadly as I hugged him tightly.

"Who's the kid?" Tony asked.

I pulled out the hug and looked at my Dad and Rosabelle. "Well this little girl is from Asgard, we went to war against Austin and well she was orphaned so I brought her here with me," I explained.

"So you're staying here for a while?" Steve asked.

I looked at Tony. "If you'll have us, all three of us?" I asked.

Tony smiled. "Anything for you kiddo!" He told me.

Tony and Pepper showed us to our rooms and had some clothes brought to us so we'd be more comfortable. We were all now sitting in the kitchen I had explained what had happened while we were on Asgard, everyone was happy that Austin was stopped. As I talked I noticed that Rosabelle had become very fascinated with the toaster, she was scared of it at first but she soon found the thing funny.

"You make toast with it," Clint told her and put a slice of bread in it.

"Wow," Rosabelle said as she waited for the toaster to pop. "What kind of magic is it?"

"It's just electricity," Tony told her.

She frowned. "Oh, is that like old magic?" She asked.

"Inside the toaster is lots of wires and they convert into heat so they heat up the bread to make toast!" Tony told her. "Once it pops up you eat it!"

Rosabelle's eyes were glowing with wonder as she looked at the toaster as it popped making her giggle. Clint put butter on it and handed it to her for her to eat. For about an hour we all sat in the kitchen eating toast and making light conversation.

"So what's your plan?" Steve asked me.

I sighed. "Well I suppose I wanted to come here for a fresh start," I told him quietly.

I could see my Dad frowning at me. "What about Asgard?" Natasha asked me.

"I met someone there and he gave his life so we'd win the war," I began. "I don't want to be there without him."

Suddenly my Dad got up and went out the room. "So er are you both staying here?" Clint asked with hopeful eyes.

I looked at Rosabelle who sat next to me. "What do you say Rosabelle, shall we stay?" I asked her playfully.

"Yeah I want to learn more about the magical Electricity!" She exclaimed.

I smiled. "Will you have us?" I asked looking at Tony.

"You don't need to ask, I know someone who'd beg to have you stick around," Tony told me and glanced at Peter.

I shook my head and got up, I went down the corridor and enter my Dad's room. He was sat on his bed, eyes closed and breathing softly.

"I'm sorry," I said quietly.

"This wasn't a holiday was it?" He asked. "You actually wanted to stay."

I sighed sadly. "Dad this could be a new start for both of us, you don't really want to go back to Asgard and I can't live there knowing if it wasn't for me Esmond would still be alive," I told him as tears threatened to appear. "Please just think about it?"

"When are you going to get Jane?" He asked ignoring my beg.

"I'll go to SHEILD HQ tomorrow and talk to her," I told him.

"What about Rosabelle?" He asked.

"I'll let the guys take her to Disney land for something," I told him. "Please just think about it, a new life, a new start as a family."

I walked out his room and back to the kitchen. I thought I'd never be on earth again, I never thought I'd see these people again, I just hope my Dad will stay with me...
