Chapter 47 - new beginnings

-- Morning of the first tour day --

Everyone had come to watch our first show. It's been a few months working on it all, and we think it looks pretty good! We've been doing small acoustic shows, recording an album which is crazy! Amber and I are just so lucky for everything we have.

I stare at my clothing choice for the night. A cute little pastel pink, blue and white pleated top, denim blue jeans and white wedges. I haven't seen anyone for quite a few months, so this show will be great to present what we have been doing, and what is possible for The Vamps to have, even though they will be doing this soon as they have been asked to tour with McFly which is absolutely amazing for them!

I collect my thoughts for now and go to get changed. Faiza is waiting on me so she can do my hair. She has helped us a lot throughout all of this. Being our stylist, and making sure we actually look alright to go out somewhere, whether it be a photoshoot, interview or the acoustic shows, she has been then to present us.

We've grown really close to her as well, which is great, as you don't really have time for many friends or seeing many people while you're on tour with someone like P!nk, so I don't know how she copes with looking after her gorgeous child while preparing for the many months of touring, but she does!

"Rhi, are you ready for hair and make up?" Faiza called to me.

"Just about." I call back and walk out to her.

"Okay. Sit down. I'll curl your hair." She said and began to brush my hair. I decided to sit and look through Twitter while she curled my hair. Amber walked out with a black floral dress, brown leather jacket and brown ankle boots.

"Girls you don't have long. Please start warming up." A stage hand said. We began doing vocal exercises while Faiza continued to style us.

We stood side stage waiting to go on. Our backing band stood beside us. When we got told we had a minute before going on we huddled around each other.

"We are going to be great. We have practiced so much, we know everything backwards." I began.

"We owe you all so much for helping us get to where we are. We couldn't of gotten this far without you all." Amber added.

"Let's go and make everyone proud." I said finally and we group hugged before the band ran on to the stage. The lights were dim, so the crowd could only show silhouettes of us.

Lizzie began playing a slow bass drum beat, warming the crowd up. Dan and Finn joined in before the lights began to slowly lift.

A surge of light filled the room just as Amber and I began to sing. The crowd erupted into cheers as everyone began to dance around the stage.

As soon as our set finished we rushed back stage to go and get into our next outfit. P!nk has organised for us to dance and sing with her in the chorus for Slut Like You. We had a 20 minute interval before P!nk has to sneak into the crowd for the opening song. Faiza helped Amber and I to get dressed.

P!nk had an outfit planned for her dances, and so we'd blend in with them, we were to be wearing the same sort of thing.

We headed side stage to get mics fitted so we didn't have to hold one. We hid the cables under our clothes and went to find the rest of the dancers who we'd grown quite close to.

"Hey!" They all cheered. We walked in and hugged them before we got called to wait side stage so we could go on for the song. The music started and we all went on dancing around the place.

After the song had finished we stayed on stage while P!nk introduced the dancers and then us.

"These girls are simply amazing. I love them to bits and so happy they were able to come with me on this tour. I give you two of the three Simpson Triplets; Rhiannon and Amber!" She introduced. We took a small bow as the crowd cheered us.

After she finished introducing we all ran off stage for the next song to play.

We went back to our dressing room and got changed, waiting for the show to finish so we could see our family. They had VIP passes so we could see them, but they had to fly back tomorrow night, so they'd be leaving about lunch.

The show finished and we raced to the stage door. It opened to reveal our family. I ran to Tristan and jumped into his arms. He held me tightly and softly kissed me. "I've missed you." I smiled. He put me down and I pulled Caitlin into a long awaited hug.

"You were brilliant out there tonight girls." She exclaimed. I turned and hugged Brad. He kissed my cheek before I hugged mum, then Connor, Shannon and James. I turned to Tristan who was fiddling with something. I kissed him softly again.

"I know you've only just turned 18, but I want to ask something. You're mum and brother is alright with it." He said quite quickly.

"Tristan. I don't understand what you're saying." I laugh awkwardly and look to everyone else. Only mum and Brad seemed to be aware of what was going on.

I turned back to look at Tristan, and found him kneeling in front of me. My hands flew to my mouth as my eyes began to tear up.

"Rhiannon Simpson. I love you with all of my heart. And it has taken these last few months to build up the courage to actually do this. But will you marry me?" He opened a small case revealing a sapphire stone ring. I nodded my head as quickly as I could. He placed the ring on my finger and quickly kissed me.

I turned to see my family, my mum crying a little and everyone else in shock.

I felt Tristan hold my chin and turn me to face him. "I love you." I said before kissing him again.

"Never take it off." He said softly. I looked to my hand, taking off my new ring and then my promise ring. I slid it back on and reached up for his hand. I let the promise ring drop into his hand.

"I have a new ring to never take off now." I smiled. "To our new life together." I kissed him softly.

So that's now the end of this book. I know this chapter wasn't as great, but I have ran out of motivation for this book. But I have done a lot for you all, I've tried to keep it going as long as I can.

As a little extra addition, I'm doing a little Q and A about what would of happened after this chapter. I did think about this for a long time.
