In honor of celebrating Disney night on Dancing With The Stars, there was an arrangement for all the couples to go to Disneyland. It helps to give inspiration for their routines. They all have to perform a dance routine together that will be the opening for the show. They'll be able to have a lot of fun as well.

"I love coming to Disney!" River said as she and Michael got out of the car.

"Me too unfortunately I can't come a lot. My schedule is so busy I barely have time to breathe." Michael said. "It's awesome that we get to do the opening number here."

"Yes, that will be later on tonight. For now, we can enjoy the park. I'll need to buy some more Minnie Mouse ears to add to my collection."

"You still haven't shown me this collection." He looked at her.

"Maybe you'll see it someday.." She says slowly before running towards the park entrance.

"Hey Riv! Wait up!" He ran after she entered the park.

Later that evening the cast performed their routine for Disney night. Afterward, everyone went back to enjoying the night festivities of the park. River and Michael decide to get on the Ferris wheel for a change of pace. They've been on every roller coaster in the park.

"I haven't had fun like this in so long," River said.

"I know today was awesome!" Michael exclaimed. "Today brought back so many memories. Like when I took you here for our first date."

"Best first date EVER." She emphasized. "That was amazing though. I thought you were going to take me out for dinner which I would have been fine with. I wasn't expecting to come to Disneyland."

"I wanted to impress you because I liked you. I wanted us to have a good time."

"I was impressed." She giggled. "You went all out for me. I remember going home and telling my parents that I was going to marry you one day."

"Really? Just from the first date?" He laughed.

"Michael I'm gonna be honest. You took me to Disneyland for the first date. No guy I date now is ever going to be able to top that. Michael, you're...different."

"Different?" He looked confused.

"Not in a bad way." She took a breath. "Every date you took me on was special. You never stopped putting in the effort.  Most guys wouldn't do half of what you did."

"I did those things because you're special River and you still are. No guy should treat you as being less than." He stated seriously.

"It's not easy trying to date out here. I appreciate you saying that though. Like I said you're a different guy Michael." She looked at the view. "Oh, I wanted to thank you for the necklace you got me. It's gorgeous I have to figure out what I'm going to wear it with."

"I'm glad you like it. I wanted to make it up to you after the fight. Again I'm sorry about going off on you like that. Our break up was really difficult for me." He stared honestly. "The thought of you leaving again...it's hard."

"I never wanted to leave you, Michael. I wish I fought for us." She sighed. "You were my everything the love of my life. I guess we never really dealt with those feelings."

"Yeah, I get it." He nodded. "We were both teenagers and didn't fully know how to confront our feelings. Well..people are grown and they still don't know how to do that."

"You're not wrong."She laughed. "I'm glad we got that out so we can move forward. I'm glad you were able to move on and find something who loves you. Maybe I'll find that again someday." Maybe she would or maybe she wouldn't. "I guess I'll find out one at some point. I've never been good with dating anyway." She then noticed something. "Oh, we're at the top."

Michael looked at the view surrounding them. "The view is always amazing. It's very calming."

"Yeah, I wish I could relax more." River ran a hand through her hair. "I need to take a vacation one of these days. My schedule is booked so not sure when that's going to happen."

"I don't remember the last time I've been on a vacation. I could use one as well." He agreed with her.

"Hey Riv" He hesitated with what he was going to say next.

"Yeah?"

"I know technically we're working on the show. This is one of the best experiences I ever had." They may have had their ups and downs but overall it was great. "I've gotten to learn more about you. I have a new level of respect for you River."

"Aw Michael"

"I'm serious River I do. You have to come up with new routines every week. And you only have a week to teach it to me. I don't know how you do it."

"I don't know how I do either if I'm honest. Sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming." She played with the bracelet on her wrist. "Being on this show is super competitive. It takes years to become a pro because you have to prove you can handle the pressure. These dancers are the best in the world. Some of them I've competed against. I would love to have a dance studio of my own. I love teaching classes at my parent's but I want a place to call my own."

"I know you'll have your studio one day. You're one of the best dancers I've ever met. You're a world champion." Michael said. "Your choreography is unlike anyone else's. Creativity has no bounds when it comes to you and I admire that. I'm excited to come back each week to see what you've come up with."

Michael's words touched her heart. Sometimes she wondered if she was good enough to hang with the vets. What he said made her feel proud. "Thank you, Michael."

"You're welcome" The two were quiet for a moment before Michael spoke again. "I wanted to ask you something."

"Yeah?"

"Well, it's more for my mother. She wanted to know if you would like to come over for dinner. Last time you were at the house she didn't get to talk to you much."

"I would love to come. Your mom's food is so good. Let me know when and I'll be there." You can't say no to Katherine.

"I will"
