Longest chapter ever and one of the last of this book my friends, i hope you enjoy.

LUCAS

We stop in the middle of nowhere.

I crack my eyes open when i realise.

"We're here" Lincoln confirms

I look around as i rub my eyes

"You sure, there looks like pretty such fuck all around us" I comment

He chuckles as he gets out of the car and i do the same.

I close the door behind me before placing my hands on my hips and looking around some more.

"We're in the desert now" Aldo says

I fight the urge to say no shit as I realise he is my Father in law.

"Come on, it's not much further to where Micheal said we would meet" Linc says as i glance at Aldo before jogging to catch up to his retreating figure.

"So he's out here, on his own, trying to co-operate with a gang in order to get us the information about where this plane will land to take us to Mexico?" I ask all in one breath "Doesn't worry me at all" I mutter

Lincoln smiles as he places an arm over my shoulders as we walk

"He's got this, we've made it this far by trusting him, lets not give up now" He says

I nod as i look up at him on my left.

It's quiet before i speak.

"I actually wanted to ask you about Ink and i" I say "Would you be apposed to me calling you brother- i mean brother in law is so long and-"

Lincoln laughs as he messes up my hair with his right hand. I squeal as i pull myself out from under his left arm.

"What was that for?" I ask with a laugh

"I'm just messing with my sister that's all" He says

I smile as i look at him, before I realise that i can't let him get away with this.

"You'd better run, Burrows" I say before he takes off.

I go flying after him, not caring how this looks to Aldo. Linc is my brother- the one that I never had.

He disappears over a sand pile and i slow my pace.

As i walk towards the edge of it i see a hut come into view.

I quicken my pace as I practically slide down the sand and land at the bottom.

As i walk closer i can see Linc talking to Micheal.

I smile as soon as ink looks up and sees me.

He runs over and practically tackles me. I gasp as he holds me in his arms.

I burry my head in his neck as i feel his heart beating against my own.

"I missed you so much" I say, not wanting to let go in fear of loosing him again.

" I missed you too-" he starts to say as he pulls away

I cut him off by pushing his shoulders.

He looks at me confused

"That was for not showing up when you said you would be there" I say, though my smiling face gives away that i am not that mad at all.

He smiles at me as he gathers me into his arms and i kiss him hard. I missed this- i missed us.

I pull away as i feel myself getting short of breath. I turn my head as i try to hide the pain of my ribs.

"You ok?" He ask me
