Chapter Thirteen

Nie Huaisang couldn't help but feel very warm inside to hear a "Thank you" coming from his brother. After the two brother talks they went out to meet up with the other sect leader.

Everyone listen to Qingheng Jun speech, he say that today they will attack Wen Ruohan, his fierce puppet and his disciple, "Today we will shot down the sun!"

All of the disciple shouted, "Sun Shot!" "Sun Shot!" They soon all left the Nie clan to head to the front line. "Huaisang stay home. If anything happen, send a message okay?" Nie Huaisang nodded his head, "be careful Da ge," with that Nie Mingjue left with the other sect leader.

"Hey Wei Wuxian! Why don't we go on ahead first?" Wei Ying nodded his head, so Jiang Cheng, Wei Ying, Jin Zixuan and Lan Zhan went on ahead first to fight the Wen disciple and the fierce corpse.

'Since I still have my golden core, I can now help out. I will use my Chenqing later,' while fighting Wei Ying couldn't help but search around for Lan Zhan, there he see Lan Zhan is being surrounded by many strong corpse and fierce corpse.

"Out of my way!" Wei Ying kick, stab and slash anything that is in his way, "Lan Zhan!" Lan Zhan who was fighting at the other end he hear, "Lan Zhan!" He was getting very tire of fighting along.

"Wei Ying?" He search for the voice, that is when he see Wei Ying is heading his way. "Wei Ying!" Within a minute or so Wei Ying is close to where Lan Zhan is at. Wei Ying rush over to Lan Zhan side, "Lan Wangji, are you alright?" He asked.

'Lan Wangji? Didn't he just call me "Lan Zhan" or am I hearing thing?' Lan Zhan lean against Wei Ying, "Wei can't take them all," he take Lan Zhan sword and put it back into the scabbard.

"Come on," Wei Ying put Lan Zhan onto his back, he step onto his sword as he maneuvered up into the sky. "Jiang Cheng! Jin Zixuan! Everyone! We need to go right now! We can't fight all of them, all at once! We need to retreat!"

"Gongzi, Wei gongzi is right. We need to go!" Jin Zixuan and his disciple got on their sword and take to the sky. "Jiang Wanyin!" Jiang Cheng also got on his sword and left from there with Jin Zixuan, Wei Ying and their disciple.

When they arrive back at Langya, Wei Ying take Lan Zhan to one of the room inside of Langya fortress. "How do you feel?" Wei Ying asked while putting Lan Zhan gently down in the bed.

"Tire," Wei Ying put his hand on Lan Zhan right cheek, "Why don't you take a rest? I will go let you father and brother know where you are at?" Lan Zhan lean into Wei Ying hand, "You call me "Lan Zhan" earlier? Why?"

Wei Ying take his hand off from Lan Zhan cheek, he took a step back and turn his back to him, "Just get some rest Lan er gongzi," when he is about to walk away from there, Lan Zhan got up and wrap his arm around Wei Ying waist.

This shock and surprise Wei Ying, "Don't...go....don't...go...please," Wei Ying let out a sigh, he unwrapped Lan Zhan arm from around his waist. He turn around to look at Lan Zhan, "I will stay until you fall asleep okay?" Lan Zhan can only nodded his head.

He help Lan Zhan to lay down on the bed, "get some rest," Lan Zhan eye begin to close on is own, 'Since when did you become like a child Lan zhan,' seeing that Lan Zhan is asleep, he got up and left the room quietly.

Once he is out of the room, Wei Ying slid down to the ground with his head in his hand. 'I can't keep this up anymore. Seeing Lan Zhan hurt like this make me feel like I want to stab myself with my own sword.'

Wei Ying look up into the night sky, 'I wonder if I truly die in the future, what will happen to A-Yuan, to Lan Zhan?'

"Wei gongzi?" Wei Ying let out a sigh, he move his head back down to see Lan Xichen is standing in front of him.

"Zewu Jun, how can I help you?" lan Xichen look at the door, "Is Wangji inside?" Wei Ying nodded his head. "I was about to go find you and your father, Lan er gongzi is resting right now. That battle against the fierce corpse and the Wen disciple is too much for us. It seem like Wen Ruohan send out some kind of fire to take over the weak fierce corpse and this weak fierce corpse turn into a stronger one."

"Wei gongzi are you?" Wei Ying sigh, "What do you want to said, Zewu Jun?" He asked.

"You did what the Wei Wuxian in the future did. Your hurting my didi," Lan Xichen glared at Wei Ying.

Wei Ying stand up, he walk closer to where Lan Xichen is at, and take Lan Xichen chin in his hand. Lan Xichen can feel his heart beating inside of his chest at what Wei Ying is doing to him. Wei Ying eye glow crimson red, "Then why don't you tell Lan Wangji to stay away then? Or Will you let the same thing happen again? You are from the future aren't you?"

Lan Xichen removed his chin from Wei Ying hand and took a step back, "I won't, this is my second chance to fix thing. I won't let the same thing happen to you or my didi." After saying that he walk pass Wei Ying and walk into the room where his didi is at.

Wei Ying let out a sigh, he turn around to look at the room behind him, 'this event is getting closer to what happen to me. But this time thing have change,' he walk away from there with something else going inside of his mind.

'I don't like how Jin Guangshan sit at the top of everyone. He can do that at his clan but not at NeverNight. I will kick him down the step if I have too. Since Wen Qing and her family is away from the war, there are innocent Wen still out there. I need to save as much people as I can.'

The next day everyone went out to fight back against the Wen clan and the fierce corpse. They push from the outside of NeverNight back into the front of Wen Ruohan palace.

They all defeated the first round of the fight against the Wen disciple. Soon they see fierce corpse coming from behind them and above them. Lan Zhan went over to Wei Ying side, he touched his back against Wei Ying back.

"Are you scare?" Lan Zhan shake his head no, "then why are you shaking?" Asked Wei Ying.

"I saw what happen to Wei Ying last time. I'm scare that the same thing will happen to you."

'Just let thing happen Lan Zhan, let the event happen as it is. I need to figure out whose is behind at Qiongqi path and at NeverNight. I don't know if that will happen or not,' "Are you worry about me or about your Wei Wuxian?" Wei Ying turn around to look at Lan zhan whose back is still to him.

Lan Zhan turn around to look at Wei Ying, "I know that Wei Ying isn't here. I know that two people can't exist in the same place. I am worry about you...Wei Ying."
