एक लड़की को देखा तो ऐसा लगा..
जैसे खिलता गुलाब, जैसे शायर का ख्वाब,
जैसे उजली किरन, जैसे बन में हिरन,
जैसे चाँदनी रात...

_____________________________________________________In Delhi, the atmosphere was tense in the hospital as Vanya worked alongside her senior doctors on a critical surgery. The operating room was filled with a silence broken only by the rhythmic beeping of monitors. The hands of the senior doctors moved with precision and experience, while Vanya assisted them with practiced ease. Though she was now familiar with such procedures, there was still something about each surgery that made her feel as if she was witnessing something new. She thought back to her early days-how nerve-wracking every moment had been. Over time, the apprehension had faded, replaced by confidence born of experience.
When the surgery was finally over, Vanya emerged from the operating room and approached the patient's family, who were anxiously waiting outside, their hands joined in silent prayer.
"Congratulations. The surgery is successful. You can see the patient once he regains consciousness," she informed them with a reassuring smile.
The family exhaled in relief, their gratitude evident in their tear-filled eyes. Moments like these were what Vanya cherished most about her profession. It was the fulfillment of a childhood dream, something she had worked tirelessly for over the years. However, like every coin has two sides, so did her work. Not every surgery ended this way, and critical procedures like this were rare wins. She allowed herself a moment of satisfaction before heading to the resting room.
Changing into fresh clothes, she was preparing to leave for home when her phone rang yet again-a familiar tune that tugged at her thoughts.
"Subha se, kam se kam 50 baar baj chuka hai yeh, ab toh utha le behen!" Navya teased, walking toward her locker.
[This phone has rung at least 50 times since morning. At least pick it up, girl!]
"Hmm... silent kar deti hoon, sorry," Vanya replied casually, switching the phone to silent mode.
[Hmm... I'll put it on silent. Sorry.]
"Silent? Vani... sab theek hai na? It's Sahil, right?" Navya asked with concern, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.
[Silent? Vani... is everything okay? It's about Sahil, right?]
"Hmm... hmm, everything is fine. And you know, right, we fight a lot-it's okay," Vanya shrugged, trying to play it off.
"It doesn't seem like a normal fight, Vanya. You never ignore him like this. You know you can talk to me about anything, right?" Navya pressed, her worry evident.
"Of course, Navi, I know. And it's just a normal fight. I haven't had much time these days-you understand, right?" Vanya said with an attempt to reassure her.
"Hmm, but apne mehboob ko itna bhi mat tadpa, utha bhi le phone." Navya teased, winking.
[Hmm, but don't torture your lover so much-just answer the call!]
