"We've been friends since forever, I wanted you to have something from me. What's better than a real diamond bracelet originated from Spain?" I let out a friendly chuckle.
The rest of the girls awe and huddle around Kate to look at her wrist.
It wasn't actually real diamonds, it's not like I would actually spend thousands on this girl. Nonna brought this for me from Paris, some vender who was selling second hand jewelry from China. That's the one she got. It was $5.
"It's so pretty, I have one just like this. My dad got it for me for my sixteenth birthday." Evelyn says.

I knew she felt the tension, she had to. This was all just an act for everyone else here. There was always a tension between her and I that goes back years. Everything always felt fake and unoriginal from her. My instincts are always right .

I chuckle, luckily I had other little things I brought back from Spain for the house and for myself so I actually did have something to give.
