Sophia's POV:

"Miss Reyes? Hello? Wake up from daydreaming." a voice commanded me.

I looked up at Mrs. Karvosky, my math teacher.

The kids were all looking at me, whispering lies about me.

Mrs. Karvosky spoke once again.

"Sophia, what is the answer to the problem on the board?"

I looked at the board.

1. 561

I did some mental math, and I had the answer.

"Mrs. Karvosky, the answer to the problem on the board is 25, 806." I replied.

Mrs. Karvosky nodded.

"Great job, Sophia."

I heard a few sneers from the kids behind me.

"Hey Sophia, why are you such a little Miss Perfect?" a girl said, who I was guessing, by the highly annoying voice, was Keisha.

Kill me now.

Thankfully, math was the 2nd to last class of the day.

Mrs. Karvosky gave us our homework, which were 2 worksheets.

I was sure I'd finish them in a few minutes.

BRRRRRRIIINNNNGGGGGG!!!

The bell rang.

We all got up, and scrambled to get to the door.

My next class was woodshop.

We were allowed to talk in there with our friends; problem is, I had no friends.

I spent the whole woodshop waiting for the bell to ring.

Mr. Guerra always played around with the people that didn't have friends.

I was the only one.

Everyone was in their own group, all except me.

We were already in drafting, which sucked.

(A/N: If you don't know what drafting is, comment your question down below. 😉)

After about 45 long, boring minutes, Mr. Guerra told us to pack up, since the bell was going to ring in 3 minutes.

Today was Monday: early-out.

Everyone scurried to put their stuff away.

I had only taken my pencil out, so I was ready early.

I took out my favorite book, If I Stay.

The bell rang, and like always, I was the last one to get out.

"Bye, Mr. Guerra." I said.

Mr. Guerra waved and responded, "Bye, mija! Be careful, you could bump into someone while reading!"

I walked out of the class, and unfortunately, guys from gym were walking out.

The girls' and boys' locker rooms were next to woodshop.

I guess I wasn't paying attention, since I accidentally bumped into my life-long crush, Jake Newman.

He smiled and apologized.

I began stuttering.

"No...um, it's my fault....because...um..." I began.

Get it together, Sophia!
