Michael Clifford was a man. A very manly man in fact as only the manliest of men would be comfortable enough with said manliness to risk jeopardising it with the pink hair dye and eyeliner that Michael so often wears. Many people would scoff at the teens appearance and proceed graciously point out that he adorns a somewhat feminine look and to this Michael would respond not so graciously that "Not that it's any of your business but I have a penis I am in fact a guy ."

None Of this seemed to ever bother the pink haired man he was perfectly happy with the way he looked, don't get him wrong he wasn't self obsessed or anything but he certainly didn't think he was ugly. He was quite fond of his eyes, the perfect shape and shade of green that pop when he paired them with the harsh blacks of his "punk rock" eyeliner. His skin was a light shade similar to porcelain that somehow allowed him to pull of any ridiculous hair colour he dared to mark his precious locks with.

He guesses if you wanted to think about it hard enough he had pretty feminine features , of course Michael himself didn't want to think about it because if he did then he just might find himself discovering that those feminine features are exactly why he likes his appearance more than most teenagers tend to,and if he discovers that then his mind might also wonder to his jawline , sharp and masculine,  with just a slight amount of stubble creating a dark shadow at the base of face .Then he might also discover that he doesn't quite like  that particular feature of himself all that much .

As his mind wonders more and more ,his eyes staring into the clear glass of the mirror he will begin to notice more and more of himself that he dislikes and a sense of emptiness will crawl it's way through his body and nestle its self at the base of his spine. In that moment Michael will realise he doesn't like the reflection staring back at him as much as he thought and in that same moment he comes to the conclusion that all the times Michael had made a joke about his "masculinity" the only person he had been trying to convince was himself.
