I'm alone
Deep down to the bone
With no one to help me
As only I can see
That deep down
I wear a constant frown
And that deep beneath my smiles
The darkness stretches for miles
And who is there to save me
When everyone else is free
And who can fix the cracks
When everyone lacks
The cement of healing
Which should be sealing
My sore and torn heart.
But right from the start
I have been alone
Right down to the bone
So who else is there
Since it's only fair
That I keep myself together
Forever
Not sealing the cracks
Or the scars and the meat sack
Which is me.
Don't you see
I just hold myself together
But hopefully not forever.
For once you are here
You will come near
And heal this broken boy
And it will give me joy
When my mind has no fractures
As you manufacture
The love needed to
Make me as good as new
And then we can hold each other
And you won't suffer
As I will seal your heart too
As it is you
Who needs to be held together
Which I can do forever.
I do not need someone to keep me locked
As my feelings are always blocked
So do not fear
I will not shed a tear
And I will keep strong
As we listen to your song
And you break down
And as I see you start to frown
I will do my best
To keep you warm like a nest
I will keep out the dark
And you will bear no mark.
I will love you forever
As long as we are together.Sorry if this poem is too long and doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. I literally just started it and kept writing until I started to dry up towards the end, which is why there are no verses and hardly any punctuation. I really like how this poem has started so leave comments and stuff to help me make it into its optimum form.
