Chapter 10

I got up with a smile on my face. I was going to spend a weekend with my best friend and my boyfriend. Plus his friends. I hope I get to know Landon and Daniel. They seem really nice.

I put on my jeans and then a blue shirt. I kissed my Aunt on the forehead since she won't be here when I leave. Then I hugged my sister. "Love you guys! I'll miss you!" I said. "Behave yourselves." My Aunt said as she winked at me. I laughed and walked out the door.

I went to school. I walked to my locker and got my books.

"TAZE!" a voice yelled.

Two fingers went and taxed my side. I screamed. I have always been ticklish. I hated it though. "Andrew!" I yelled. People were now staring. "I'm going to kill you!" I yelled as I ran after him.

He stopped quickly and I ran right into him. "Ouch Andrew!" I yelled. "I'm sorry baby." He said as he kissed me. "Um Andrew people are watching us and their giving me the evil eye." I whispered. "Eh who cares. I'll see you after school." He said. He walked away.

Finally. Schools over. Grace took me home. She had her stuff with her so we wouldn't have to go back to her house.

We got home and I got my stuff and set it next to the door. "When will they be here?" Grace asked.

"They said they'd be here right after school." I said as I looked out the window.

"There they are!" Grace yelled.

We went out the door and grabbed our stuff. "Hey!" I said. I have Landon and Daniel a wave and Andrew a kiss on the cheek.

"So um Grace this is Daniel." He waved. "And this Landon." He waved. Right when I pointed to Landon both Grace and Landon blushed. Aw. Too cute.

I gave Grace a wink and she elbowed me in the side. I laughed.

It was a fun car ride. Landon and Grace weren't apart of any of our conversations because they talked the whole time. Daniel and I got pretty close though. Now is just have to get close with Landon. Hopefully it won't be too hard.

We went up the road onto the mountains and we stopped in front of a huge house. "Is this the house we're staying at?!" I asked as I got out of the car.

"Yep." Andrew said. "Woah." I said.

"Alright so Layla your room is on the 3rd story on the right and Grace your room is on the second story on the left. So go unpack and the. Get ready for the bonfire." Andrew said. Grace and I nodded and went in the house.

"So you and Landon?" I said with a smirk. "Nothing serious but within those 3 hours I started to like him." She said as her face turned red. "Aww! Well he liked a you too! Didn't you see his face when he first saw you?" I asked as I squealed.

"This my room so I'm going to go unpack." She said as she went in her room.

I finally found my room. Wow. I walked out to the balcony. "It's so beautiful." I said to myself.

The sky was blue and you could see the mountains in the distant. Then you look down and there's the lake. So beautiful.

Now to packing. I left the balcony door open for some air. I opened up my suitcase and started to unpack. I hung up my clothes in the closet then my pajamas and other stuff in the drawer. I then got my bag of toilet trees and went into my bathroom. Wow. I could live here everyday. There was a huge shower and then a huge bathtub. I unpacked my toilet trees and put them away.

I remembered that I had to get ready for the bonfire so I just through on a pair of shorts and a jacket. I went downstairs and outside. I saw everyone out there. I went to go sit down by Grace and Andrew.

"Hey we should play truth or dare." I said as I sat down.

"Alright I'll go first." Andrew said. "Grace truth or dare?" He asked. "Truth." She said. "Have you had your first kiss?" He asked. I could see Grace's face getting red. Sh*t Andrew why'd you ask that. "No." She said with a straight face. Landon immediately turned to her when she said that.

We played truth or dare for a while and it was my turn to ask. I had an excellent plan. I knew Grace would be as but she liked a Landon. "Landon, truth or dare?" I asked. "Dare." He said. "I dare you to kiss my best friend, Grace for 5 seconds." I said.

Everyone immediately turned to look at me. Grace was blushing and Landon was also blushing. "What are you waiting for? Kiss." Daniel said with a smirk. I laughed.

"Um I- uh." Grace said. I could tell she was really nervous. Landon scooted close to Grace. Oh my gosh they were actually going to kiss. Grace had a little grin, and I knew she would thank me later. Hehe clever little me. Grace moved in and Landon did the same. They kissed. "One two three four five. Okay." I said. They pulled away.

Grace's face was like a tomato so red. Landon was kind of smiling. After a few seconds Landon got up and walked away. "What just happened." I asked.

"Well you see, Landon recently had to break up with a girl because she was moving 3000 miles away. He really live her but then Grace came into his life. He still didn't know of he could love any girl again, but like I said Grace came into his life. Plus I've never seen him this happy until he saw Grace." Andrew said.

"Should I go over there?" Grace asked. "Yeah you should." Daniel said. Grace got up and walked over to Landon.

"I'll be right back I need to go tell my parents we got here safely." Andrew said as he got up and walked away.

It was kind of awkward because it was just Daniel and I. "Um so uh what about you?" I asked. "What about me?" He asked. "Don't you have a lover?" I asked as I laughed. "I used to until she died of cancer." He said. Oh crap I'm such a b*tch. "I'm so sorry Daniel I didn't mean- I mean I didn't know. I'm so sorry. She's in a better place now." I said as I sat closer to him. I gave him a hug. Surprisingly he hugged me back. I pulled back. "So how have you been ever since she passed?" I asked. "I've been good I guess." He said.

"Okay well I'm going to go to bed ill see you tomorrow." I said.

I went up to my room and went to go take a shower. The shower was so nice. The water would come out of the ceiling. It was so cool.

I got out and dried off. I put my pajamas on and got into the bed. Oh my gosh it was so comfortable. I fell asleep right away.
