I heard Zach in the shower on my way down the stairs but kept walking. I slipped out the front door without anyone noticing I made my way next door and went up to my room. I took a shower and changed into a black v-neck and grey skinny jeans I then slipped on my black converse. I searched the pockets of the pants I was wearing previously and pulled out my phone.

I felt terrible leaving Zach to be honest I wish I didn't have sex with him, cause I knew when Blake got here things would crash and burn and it would be my fault. I felt like the worst person in the world right now.

I checked my phone and saw I had 3 texts from Blake.

7:15pm

B: hey told you I'd text you (: how'd the case go?

7:28pm

B: you holding up okay? Did something bad happen? C'mon tell me I'm nervous here!...

7:40pm

B: are you ignoring me? ): I hope not *pouts*

I typed a reply.

S: hey sorry I was busy didn't have my phone on me... The case was...interesting

I waited for a little, feeling extremely bad for what i did with Zach last night, soon my phone buzzed with a text.

B: hmmm interesting you say? Details! :o

S: my dad's in jail! Joshua admitted to raping me so he got sent to rehab or some shit for a while

B: omg! Well at least that guys out of your life for a little while. How long is your dad going to be in jail?

S: haha yea uhm.. 30years!

B: holy shit! Are we going to celebrate this too when we see each other orrrr...

S: I guess we could :)

B: hey I gtg I'll text you tomorrow going somewhere with no service xoxo

S: oh okay where you going?

B: secret shhhh (: bye!

I roled my eyes. I had to go talk to Zach. I walked down the stairs into the kitchen.

"Where have you been all night?!?" my mother exclaimed.

I scratched the back of my neck, "I was with Zach..."

My mom frowned, "Oh...next time at least tell me"she scolded before sighing, "here have some pancakes" she said indicating to the plate of pancakes on the counter.

Mel (my half sister she's 6) came into the kitchen and saw me she bolted into my arms and hugged me tight. I smiled hugging her back.

"Tomorrow morning I have to go to the airport to pick up someone who is going to be staying in your room Seth." I was about to protest when she cut me off "he will stay on the blow up mattress...in your room. So go and get it and blow it up by tomorrow"

"But mooommmmm"

"But nothing" she said firmly and left the kitchen with a knowing smile.

Mel giggled. I raised an eye brow at her. I feel like I'm missing something here... After shrugging it off I left to go see Zach I needed to talk to him.

"You totally ditched me this morning" Zach said looking slightly irritated.

I looked to the ground, "I know I'm sorry...but Zach..."

"You regret it" it wasn't a question.

I looked up to meet his eyes and nodded slowly.

He frowned and then smiled slightly, "It's okay... I guess I understand why..."
