"You guys are here earlier than usual. What's going on?" Ms. Fairchild asks. "It's Grant, we think he's depressed, but his mom. She's famous and word will get around quick." Junior says. "Oh! If he is why did he just walking in the building?" Ms. Fairchild asks. They whip their heads around and see Grant walking into the teacher's room.

"Hey, what're we talking about?" He asks happily. "I thought you were staying home, Grant you okay?" Jake asks. "Yeah, better than ever; went on a 10 mile run at 2 am!" Grant says happily. "10 miles?! That's not good." Devon chimes in. "I rearranged my whole room also!" Grant says to, sitting on a spinning stool. "Did you sleep?" Lexy asks. "Who needs sleep?! I got so much done! Well, I need to get to class. Bye, see ya soon Jake." Grant gives Jake a big hug and walks out. "Excuse me Ms. Fairchild, but what the actual fuck?" Junior says.

The day passes along its lunch. They meet at their usual spot and talk and eat. "Grant? You gonna eat?" Jake asks. "Not hungry." Grant says. "Not eating is unhealthy, here eat half." Junior says and Jake gives him half of his sandwich. After lunch Grant goes to use the restroom.

He pukes it back up. The sandwich from Jake, carrots from Junior, chips from Lexy, and an apple from Devon. He looks in the bathroom mirror and sees tears coming down his face. "No,no no no no no no no. Grant stop crying you did this so you could look better. Lexy broke up with you for an athletic guy." Grant says to himself. After a few more seconds he pulls himself together and leaves.

The last period of the school day is study hour and that's Ms. Fairchild's planning period so they go there. "Hey kids." Ms. F says as they walk in. They all say hi or hey and sit down at the tables in the front of the classroom, and Grant pulls a chair on Jake's and Devon's table. Ms.F?" Grant says. "Yeah?" She responds with. "Have you ever had a girlfriend?" The other 4 kids look up at her and she looks up at a Grant. "I've had 3 boyfriends." "What happened with them?" Grant asks. "I broke up with the first one, we just weren't right together, the second one and broke up before college so we wouldn't be disappointed with each other, and the third is now my fiancé!" Ms. Fairchild yells happily and holds her engagement ring out.

Everyone looks up and runs over to her desk to see the ring and it has so many diamonds. "Are you still going to be Ms.F?" Lexy asks. "Always, he agreed to take mine." Ms. Fairchild says the excitement wears down and the kids move back to their seats.

"Are you guys not hot?" Devon asks. "Yeah, a bit." Jake says and everyone else agrees and ends up taking off their jackets. Devon places a hand on Jake's leg for reassurance. Jake takes off his jacket and Ms. F notices and winks happily at him. "Ok what's going on? It's supposed to be hot all this month the highest being over 100°." Junior says. "Jake? What're you gonna do? You'll pass out in long sleeves?" Lexy asks softly. "It's fine, I'm ready. I've been talking go my therapist about it too." Jake says and Grant scoffs. "What?" Jake asks. "My parents. They want me to go for some reason." Grant says. "Why?" Devon asks. "I don't know! And it's fucking stupid, I don't need it." Grant says slamming his science book closed. "Grant, if your parents think you need it you should hear them out." Lexy says. "Really? You guys too?" Grant asks then storms out the room. "Glad I don't have you guys next period." Ms. F says sarcastically. "You do tho?" Junior says confused. "It's a joke." Ms. F says again and Junior laughs.

30 minutes later the bell rings and it's Ms. F's class and her quiz is today. "Hey Junior." Oliver says.
"What's up?" Junior says back. "This stupid quiz, after fucking Friday. I know Grant's happy." Oliver says and the two laugh. Grant walks back in and sits down at his seat. He gets the quiz and panics. He doesn't remember anything. An hour passes and the bell rings everyone turns their papers in to leave and Grant sits at his seat staring at the paper with pencil in hand.

"Grant?" Ms.Fairchild calls out to him. "Time's up." She says getting up to walk over to him. "Grant?" She asks. "I didn't do anything." Grant whispers back in tears. "It's okay, it's just one bad grade." Ms. F says patting his back. "Grant, the class is over, my next class is coming in; I'm sorry, but you need to leave." Ms. Fairchild says and Grant grabs his bag, walks out the room and out of the school.

Grant walks home to paparazzi crowding the house and the security pushing them off property lines. Agent Hick notices Grant and helps him to the house as some paparazzi notices and tries to chase Grant. In the house Agent Hicks becomes confused.

"Wait, why are you here? You have one more class period left." Agent Hicks as. "Don't feel too well." Grant whispers and walks up the stairs. "You haven't been feeling well for a while. I heard your mom talking about a therapist for you, I think you should go." Agent Hicks. "No, I don't need it." Grant says placing his book bag on his floor. "Well, your family is hosting a party Saturday. It's an outdoor one to celebrate the coming of Spring in the garden from 4 P.M to 12:00 A.M. So no more of this long sleeve shit." Agent Hicks says with a laugh. "Yeah, whatever. Can you leave, please?" Grant says teary-eyed. He looks exhausted and his hair is messy, and his eye bags are darker than ever. "Are you okay, Grant?" Hicks asks once more. "I'm fine, now leave!" Grant yells sadly with his voice cracking and him slamming the door and locking it.

Charlotte comes home as James is help up for a meeting at his office. "Grant! The school called and said you left...again! You've gotta stop this!" Charlotte calls out to the house as she takes off her heels and her maid Molly takes them up to her closet. "No, Molly. I got it." Charlotte insists with a laugh. "No, let me. I have to dust today anyways." Molly says and slaps her hand as a joke and the two laugh. "Mrs. Collins? May we speak?" Agent Hicks asks. "Bailey, call me Charlotte. I've known you since we were five." Charlotte says. "It just feels weird, but I'm worried about Grant. He hasn't been acting like himself since the breakup. I think he's heading down a path that leads to a mental breakdown." Agent Hicks says.

"I know, I've asked him to see a therapist, but he won't. I'm worried for him. I'll go speak to him." Charlotte says and walks up the house stairs.
