Three days after her rest period was over and Sakura had regained her place in the light, she found herself returning to training ground 3 after what felt like a lifetime. Kakashi had asked them to gather there for a training session. 'For old times' sake.' Just like in the past, she reached it first and took a seat under a tree to read and review some of her medical knowledge. Before Danzo happened, Sakura was scheduled to to take her official medic exam, granting her the power to operate on people and treat things bigger than cuts and minor burns. Alas, because of that scum she had missed her test but she plans to retake it next week. Eventually Sasuke arrived and took a seat next to her, they waited for Naruto in comfortable silence. Once the blonde had arrived, she decided that rather than waste time while they waited for Kakashi, they could quiz her on the theoretical part.

Pulling out a flashcard so he could read it, Naruto asked her a question. "What are the digestive enzymes found in the stomach?"

"Pepsin, Gastric lipase and Cathepsin F."

"Correct."

"What is Kagami Syndrome?" asked Sasuke.

"Kagami Syndrome is a genetic dysfunction of the nervous system where the brain treats the chakra of an individual as a virus. The chakra pathways get attacked by the immune system and damaged or outright destroyed. Symptoms of it are: fatigue, a rise in temperature and nausea in the first stage, pain in extremities, dilated pupils and difficulty moving in the second stage and complete paralysis in the third. This disease is fatal and has no known cure, but the progression can be delayed with medicine. It was named after Kagami Uchiha, the first person to get treatment for it. The popular term for it is Lizard Fever, as people thought it was chakra lizard bites that caused it."

"Wrong."

"What?! How?"

"It's actually Snake Fever. People thought that the snakes from Ryūchi Cave were responsible for it." said Sasuke as he handed her the flash card to see for herself.

"Damn, can't believe I actually got that one mixed up with Lizard Fever..."

"Why are you even studying for this stupid exam, Sakura-chan? You're already our medic nin and doing a great job!" said Naruto.

Sakura laughed. "While I am certified as a field medic, I am not as a doctor. I already know how to do surgery with and without the assistance of chakra, but without an official certification my work at the hospital would stay pretty pathetic. This exam allows me to become a surgeon and to specialize in a certain field."

"Which field?" asked Sasuke, curios.

"Chakratic Pathology. Since my chakra control is so good, I can easily deal with the more delicate cases chakra manipulation would require."

"What does that mean?" asked Naruto.

"The study of diseases. I have to find the cause and effects of each of them and find a cure."

"That sounds right up you alley, Sakura." said a new voice and they turned around to see Kakashi.

"Kakashi-sensei! You're late!" exclaimed Naruto.

"As usual." added Sasuke.

Sakura threw in her own two cents. "Not much of a surprise there..."

"First thing you say to me is mean and a complaint, this really is just like old times." said Kakashi with a sigh. "I had a little idea for us to try out, we should all reintroduce ourselves!"

"Why would we do that?" asked Sasuke

"Yeah, we already know each other sensei!" said Naruto.

"True, but things have changed a lot in the past years and you have all become different people than when you were children. This is a good way familiarize ourselves with each other and who knows, you might learn something new."
