Too late (Camren/Laurinah)

This is my 3rd date with Austin and I feel bad. All I think about is Lauren. I guess I'm the "bad guy" here. Since I'm using Austin, I like him and all. It's just that I don't like him enough to date him.

"Camilla. Yo Camilla" I finally snapped out of my daze. Why can't he pronounce my name right? We've been on enough dates and hangouts for him to get it right, and still can't.

"Aye Chris, your sister-- Lauren?" I instantly turned to Brad's direction to hear what he has to say about Lauren.
"Yeah that's her name, what about her?" Brad just smiled "Yeah, she's pretty cute. Do you think she has a boyfriend?"

"No. But I know she wants to finish high school before she had a relationship" Chris snapped a little. Yay Chris. "Alright bro, just asking"

It annoyed me so much how boys can be. Except Chris, I like him cause he knows what's wrong and what's right. He's a Jauregui.

"Do you want me to take you home? Or do you want to come along with us?" Austin slipped his arm around me but on the top of the seats we were sitting at.

"Is it alright if you drop me off? I have a test in a couple days and I need to study" he nodded. "Anything for you babe" he kissed me on the cheek. Thank god I moved my face quickly cause he would've aimed for my lips. Talk about wrong, but perfect timing.

I never had my first kiss yet, and I am hoping it's not Austin. I partially lied to him. I do have a test, but I just didn't want to hang with them. I would only hang out with Chris cause at least he has some sense in him.

Me: What are you doing?

L: Just watching movies on Netflix

Me: I see, what movie?

L: How's ur date going?

L: Wish upon a star.

Me: I'm going home right now. Can you come over for a bit? I love that movie btw 😊

L: Ur lucky my movie finished. You want me to grab you?

Me: Thanks Lolo, no it's fine. Austin is taking me home.

L: Alrighty, I'll be there Camz.

I smiled at her texts as I got into Austin's car without him noticing. He was slowly trying to make a move. Since I could see from side eye, I tried to dodge it by pretending to be tired and lean against the door.

"Thanks for tonight Austin, sorry you had to take me home so early" I reached for the handle but he stopped me. Yikes. "Wait," I had no choice but to look back. He was leaning in for a kiss.

I dodged that one too and let him kiss my cheek instead. I laughed to myself. "Goodnight Austin" I closed the door and watched him as he drove off. Was I being a tease? No. I just didn't want to kiss him.

I went straight to my porch. I shut the automatic lights off.

L: I'm here Camz

Me: Come to the back

I saw her shadow coming closer. "Hey Camz" she walked up the 3 steps and we both smiled. She sat right next to me on the cushioned couch. We both sat at both ends making ourselves comfortable.

"What's up Camz?" It was a little awkward at first but I snapped out of it. "I don't know.." she sat up and scooted a little closer. "What's wrong" I looked up and exhaled a bit.

"I like Austin.. But in a way, I don't. I feel like we're opposite. In ways he's nice, but with his friends around, not so much" I looked down. But once she put her hand on my thigh, I lightly moved.
