'Presley pov'

'Darcy come on, ma will be here soon, you have to say bye to the boys' I said making breakfast. Since ma found out about Sam she has ended her ''Business trip'' early. She never really had a job so I honestly don't know where she is gone. Darcy came downstairs with her suitcase full to the brim. 'I'm ready' she exclaimed. 'are you sure you packed everything......I'll check later anyway' I said setting her breakfast on the table. 'I don't want to go home' said Darcy, her voice was almost a whisper. 'why?' I asked concerned. 'I......its....Jack, ma is always with him.......and he's really mean' she said staring straight into my eyes. 'Darc....who I Jack?' I asked getting worried. 'ma's boyfriend, she's not gone on a business trip, she's with him.....she says that he has money and that we will be happy with him' she said. 'wait......ma has a boyfriend, she's with him...and he's mean to you? what does he do?' I asked getting a little angry. 'one time when ma was shopping....I had to stay the him and.....he locked me in my room because there was men coming to buy stuff.....he said if I told anyone he would....h.....' she started to cry obviously terrified of this guy. 'he would what baby....tell me' I said cradling her in my arms. 'take ma away from me and hurt her' she said bawling her eyes out crying. 'don't worry Darcy, I won't let anyone hurt you...neither will Sam or even Wes' she was hysterical now, this guy is such an asshole, I mean she is six years old. Skyler and Kela cane back on from shopping laughing and talking but when their eyes landes on us, it all changed.

'what happened' said Skyler rushing to my side with Kela following. 'not now, I'll tell you later' I mouthed to them. ' come on, let's go and play the Wii' said Kela taking Darcy's hand and racing Skyler and I alone, I'll tell her later.

'now what happened' repeated Skyler.

'Darcy said that ma isn't on a business trip, she's with her ''boyfriend'' Jack, she seems terrified of him.......she said he threatened to hurt ma and take her away from Darcy if she told anyone that he locked her away while he sold something to some men' I said bursting with rage.

'holy shit....you have to do something, talk to your mom, I'm sure he's with her' said Skyler.

'oh don't worry, I will, she's not going anywhere with him, I have to find out what he was selling....probably drugs' I replied.

'was he not at the airport with her when you got Darcy' asked Skyler.

'no, but it all makes sense, ma loves Darcy, she would of taken her with her no matter what, she didn't have Sam or me so she needed Darcy, but if he threatened her if course he wouldn't want her there, ma must be afraid of him too.' I said breathing heavily.

'she's in there all jolly again, so what happened' said Kela entering the room. I explained all I told Skyler and Kela was really pissed off, she always had a quick temper.

'when are they coming, I swear I will fucking break his legs......that asshole' she said fuming,

'we have to act normal guys, Kela you can't go all karate on him, let Presley talk to her mom......okay?' said Skyler calmly. Darcy called Kela's name and Kela left the room.

'okay keep her away from Jack.....please, I'm going to Wes's' I got Darcy and took her with me. 'your gonna tell Wes and Sam what you told me....okay?' I said walking to their house with her. 'mhmmm' she replied. We got to their house and entered without knocking. Drew was eating yogurts, Keaton and Sam were playing the XBox and Wes must be in his room. 'you go into Sam' I said to Darcy and she did as I ordered. I walked up to Wes's room and knocked on the door. 'wait' he said. 'its me' I replied. Straight away he opened the door with a smile spread from ear to ear. He had only a towel wrapped around his waist, his hair was soaking and messy, the water dripping onto his bare chest. 'hey gorgeous' he said letting me in. 'hi' was all I said sitting on the edge of his bed. He sat next me snaking his arm around my waist pulling me close. 'is everything okay?' he asked in a whisper. I shook my head and stood up. 'no its not okay, my mom is actually on some sick trip with an asshole who is supposed to be her loving boyfriend but yet he threatens Darcy and I think doing the same to ma or even worse.......be-' I started to choke up a bit holding back my tears. Wesley got up and hugged me tightly.
