Gryffindor Girls Dormitory
I refuse to spend another day in the library.
Yes, I understand that NEWTs are just around the corner. Yes, I understand my entire future could be based entirely on how well I perform in my studies. Also yes, I rely entirely on external validation such as through academic prowess to maintain my mental state, which is already, arguably, not the most maintained.
However, I am, so tired.
We spent so much of yesterday just flinging spells around with varied success. I don't really think that it was necessary for me to put in practice, as I have never performed poorly in a spell ever, but James Potter deemed it necessary for things such as "morale" and "leadership" - two things which I have never claimed to care about.
I simply have far too many things on my plate!!
For example, I was going to write a list about all the things on my plate but I simply cannot be bothered and this is my bloody diary so what does it even matter!!! I'll do whatever I like.
And to add to all of this, James is so fixed and focused on this little spell defense training group that he doesn't have time to plan Peter's party, so, somehow as bloody always, I have been dragged into organising it. The good thing is I have wrangled Remus into being my party planning assistant. Leave Black, James, Lily and Lottie to their spell work with all the hoi polloi.
Speaking of the hoi polloi, Lottie and Isadora James have been bonding lately. It's weird. Ever since all of that stuff went down with Hollard Buggery, it's like Isadora has suddenly become... a nice person? Not that I'd say that to her face. I'd never give her the satisfaction.
Also, Hollard Buggery. Hol Buggery. I don't really say his name out loud very often, and it's rather just occurred to me why. Did his parents have a child and then decide, 'hey, we actually don't want one, so instead we think we should give him the worst name in all of human existence'? If they didn't do that, I can't see why they would name him Hol Buggery.
Anyway, it's weird. All of it. But also nice to see Lottie branching out a bit.
I spent most the day attempting to study (by attempting, all I'll say is two words: Sirius Black). Black spent most of the day trying to convince me to ride on his motorcycle with him once we finish our NEWTs and he can pick it back up again from the Potters'.
In conclusion, I have decided never to return to the Library and instead become a Hermit somewhere in rural Wales I think. Black can visit me on his motorcycle. The Library will stay here.

The Great Hall
I think it sensed my weak resolve. I can never stay away from you, Library.
In other news, party planning update! The plan is to use one of the hidden passages to sneak to Hogsmeade and procure a number of supplies for said party. It's not much of a plan I must admit, especially as this is really part of the plan for any birthday or party based shenanigans. Also considering that we're all banned from leaving school grounds.
