The next day after their marriage, a new chapter begins for Siddu and Rashmi...
Although some of Siddu's loved ones couldn't attend his special day, they made it a point to visit the newlyweds the very next day, showering them with love, blessings, and warm wishes for a happy life together!
As they arrived, Siddu and his bride Rashmi were beaming with joy, still basking in the bliss of their union. The guests were greeted with a warm welcome, and the happy couple eagerly shared stories and memories of their special day.
The loved ones who had missed the wedding were eager to make up for lost time. They lavished the couple with gifts, blessings, and words of wisdom, filling the air with laughter and love.
As they sat together, sharing a meal and making merry, Rashmi smiled at him, her eyes shining with happiness. "This is what marriage is all about," she whispered, squeezing his hand. "Surrounded by love, and making memories that last a lifetime!.."
Siddu nodded in agreement, feeling grateful for the love and support that surrounded them. He knew that this was just the beginning of their journey together, and he couldn't wait to see what the future held for them!
Siddu's grandmother, his mother Karishma's mom, accompanied the family to visit the newlyweds. Known for her stubborn and rough behaviour, she had a soft spot for Siddu, her beloved grandson. However, her absence from the wedding was a deliberate choice, stemming from her desire to control every aspect of Siddu's life.
The decision to marry Rashmi was made by Siddu and his mother, leaving grandma feeling sidelined and hurt. She had always been intensely involved in Siddu's life, and the fact that he hadn't even discussed Rashmi with her before the wedding was a painful blow.
As a result, grandma's interactions with Rashmi were strained. Her rigid expression and minimal conversation made Rashmi feel uneasy and unsure of how to connect with her.
While grandma's warmth towards her daughter and Siddu was evident, her behavior towards Rashmi was distant and reserved, leaving the young bride wondering what she had done wrong..!
Siddu noticed his grandma's stern expression and reaction as she interacted with Rashmi. Sensing her unease, he immediately went to her side.
"Grandma, I know you're upset," Siddu said gently, taking her hand in his. "But please, give Rashmi a chance. She's an amazing person, and I know she'll win your heart over."
Grandma looked up at Siddu, her eyes softening slightly at his words. She saw the sincerity and love in his eyes, and her expression began to relax.
"Okay, beta," Grandma said finally, nodding her head. "I'll give her a chance. But she better be good enough for you!"
Siddu smiled, relieved, and hugged his grandma tightly. "I promise, Grandma. Rashmi is perfect for me."
As Siddu stepped back, Grandma's gaze fell on Rashmi, who was watching the exchange with a warm smile. For the first time, Grandma really looked at Rashmi, and she saw the kindness and love in her eyes.
Maybe, just maybe, Grandma thought, this girl is worth getting to know!
Rashmi: " Grandma, is everything okay? You seem a bit... distant..!"
Grandma: " I'm just concerned about Siddu's well-being. He didn't even discuss his marriage with me before making a decision!"
Rashmi: " I see. I'm sorry if we didn't involve you in the decision-making process. We didn't mean to hurt your feelings!"
