Just right after Miro went out she was welcome by Jens who's standing there.

"Ano nanaman yun?" Miro asked with irritation. Jens smiled sadly at her.

"Hindi mo ba ako namiss?" Jens pouted. Miro rolled her eyes at her.

"You left me at the bar last night. What happened?" Jens asked and follows Miro who's now walking ahead.

"Just did some stuff." Miro said as if it's not important.

"Fine, I won't ask you anything." Jens give up when she sense her mood.

"Kain nga tayo, gutom na ako." Miro said that made Jens smiled widely.

"Libre mo?" Jens asked with anticipation.

"As if naman may choice ako." Miro said.

"Yey! Let's go!" Jens runs in excitement as she pulls  Miro with her.

Miro just let her.

The next morning...

Miro was about to walk out of the house when Cleir called her.

"What?" Annoyed, Miro asked.

"Mom wants to see you." Cleir carefully said every word.

"And what makes you think na gusto ko siyang makita?" Miro raised her eyebrows and clicked her tongue. Cleir frowns a little.

"Bakit ba ganyan kang magsalita?" Cleir asked as she started to get annoyed.

"Bakit ang hilig mong makialam?" Miro scowled at her, then she quickly got in the car and forcedly to slam the door.

Miro arrived at the school and mindlessly walked in the room as she chose the last seat at the end.

She doesn't know how long it takes for her to realise that her class is almost done.

"Okay class, I am expecting all of you to submit your output on Monday." Aliah said as roam her eyes around.

"Are we clear?" She asked.

"Yes ma'am" Her student responded.

"Are we clear Ms. Lecaros?" She asked again but she didn't hear any response.

"Ms. Lecaros." She patiently asked again.

Miro didn't say anything as she nodded. Aliah just looked at her without saying anything.

"Okay now, class is dismissed." Aliah walked up to her table as she organised her stuff. But Miro didn't move from her seat. Aliah stared at her.

"Miro." She called.

"Hmm?" Miro simply hummed without looking at her.

"You've been dozing off since earlier." Aliah stated as she walked up to her. Miro shakes her head.

"Am I? I'm sorry I wasn't listening to your discussion. Don't worry I will listen next time." Miro explained as she laid her gaze at Aliah who was looking at her.

"Are you okay?" Aliah replied instead.

"Of course, Ma'am." Miro shortly replied as she stands and fixed her things.

"But your eyes are telling me otherwise." Aliah whispered and Miro was stunned.

"I-I, I don't want to talk about it." Miro stuttered as she bit her lips.

"You don't have to. Come here." Aliah smiled in understanding as she opened her arms.

Miro lifted her gaze as she shook her head.
