"Saan naman natin hahanapin si Miro ngayon?" Sam massaged her temple as she sat down on the couch.

"I don't know." Aliah replied, hopeless.

"Wala naman kasi akong ibang kilala na kaibigan ni Miro." Sam shook her head as she tried to think again.

"Wait!" Aliah's eyes widened when she remembered something.

"Madalas tumambay si Miro sa bar, I think Blue Label yung name nung bar." Aliah immediately turned to walk away.

"May kilala ka ba doon? Besides hindi ka pwedeng pumasok lang bigla doon." Sam warned her.

Aliah turned back on Sam and signed.

"How about Miezy? Baka may alam siya." Sam asked. Aliah stared at her.

"I have her number, wait tawagan ko." Sam grabbed her phone.

After a few moments Miezy answered the call.

"Hello Miezy." Sam greeted.

"Magtatanong lang ako if alam mo kung saan lumipat ng bahay si Miro." Sam asks as she looks at Aliah who's anxiously looking at her.

"Oh! Okay thank you." Sam put away her phone.

"Nasa Cavity na raw." Sam smiled at her.

"Ano tara na?" Sam stood up and went out, Aliah follow behind her.

"Sam thank you." Aliah muttered and Sam stop walking as she looks at Aliah.

"Yeah, just so you know you're my best friend and I am willing to be there for you, always." Sam patted her head and continue to walked.

Aliah feel so nervous right now. It's been 5 months since the last time they saw each other. She doesn't even know if Miro want to see her. But she want to give it a try. It's better to risk this time even though it's late than to regret.

She stared out of the car window. She keep brushing her hands together to calm her nerves. But the unsettled feelings really stirred inside her.

She misses her so much.

She misses her voice.

She misses her smile.

She misses her touch.

She misses everything about her.

'God, bigay mo na po sa'kin 'to. Promise ko Lord I'm gonna keep her this time for real.' Aliah prayed.

"You awfully quiet. Say something." Sam muttered. Aliah turned to look at her.

"I—I just don't feel okay right now. What if galit siya? What if hindi niya ako gustong makita?" Aliah anxiously rambles.

"Stop rambling nonsense." Sam chuckled.

"But if there is something I want to say. Kung ano man ang decision niya, accept it. If she wants to let go of everything she definitely has the right to do so. If she want to give it another chance please don't blow it away." Sam sincerely utter. Her voice doesn't contain any blame and judgement, just a pure genuine support for Aliah.

Aliah's eyes became blurry and her tears form in her eyes. She quickly look away and bite her lower lip.

"T—Thank you." She almost choke up.

Sam just smiled and decided to let her.

After a long drive they finally arrived at the residence of Miro's grandparents. Aliah keep taking a deep breath as she tried to relax her nerves.

"Don't worry, sasamahan kita." Sam assured her. Aliah smiled with gratitude.

"Come on." Aliah said and get off the car.

They walked together towards the main door. Sam lift her right hand and knock on the door.

"Parang wala namang tao." Aliah whispered.

"Meron yan trust me." Sam knock again then the door swings open.

"Sino ang sadya nila?" An old man look at Sam.

"Ah eh si M— Sam wasn't able to finish her sentence.

"Aliah apo ikaw ba yan?" Miro's Lolo happily asked when he turned to Aliah.

"Hello po" Aliah smiled and lean for a quick hug.

" Tuloy kayo, pasok pasok mga Iha." The old man open the door widely and let them in.

"Where is Lola po?" Aliah asked and look around as they walked in.

"Kasama na ni Lord ang Lola mo Iha." Malungkot na sagot ng Lolo ni Miro.

"I'm sorry po." Aliah look at him sadly. But the old man just smiled and tap her shoulder.

"Teka lang at tatawagin ko ang apo ko."

Aliah felt her chest tightened and her hands trembled.

They sat down on the couch.

"Apo! May bisita ka." He called.

"Ay teka, ipaghahanda ko muna kayo ng maiinom. Hintayin niyo na lang siyang bumaba." He said and went to the kitchen.

"Ang ganda ng ambiance dito kila Miro no?" Sam looks around.

"Yeah, the first time I went here with her na-amaze din ako." Aliah replied.

"Lo sin—"

They all got surprised. Their eyes widened and mouth agape.

"What are you doing here?"

Sam is the first one to stood up while Aliah remain frozen.

"Uh— Atty. Lecaros." Sam stutter

"We- we want to see Miro sana if it's okay." Sam smiled awkwardly.

"Cleir apo nandyan ka na pala."

"Maupo muna kayong lahat at magmeryenda." He offers as he place down the tray of food on the coffee table.

Sam sat down again while Cleir walked and sat across them.

"Maiwan ko muna kayo at may gagawin lang ako." He said.

"Thank you po." Sam smiled despite the tension between them.

"So..." Cleir said as she look at them.

"I am looking for Miro." Aliah said.

"Yes we are looking for her and—"

"Miro.." Cleir chuckled lowly. Sam and Aliah glanced at each other confusedly.

"She's not here anymore." Cleir smiled at them.

"Ganun ba? Pero alam mo ba kung saan namin siya mahahanap?" Aliah look at her with hope but Cleir shook her head.

"She's not here."

"Miro— she passed away five months ago." Cleir sadly utter.
