Chapter 33

Dominic's pov

I hear a familiar chuckle outside of my hospital room then a knock " come in " I say softly. The door opens and I look up seeing my lovely boyfriend.

" hey you " Nico says smiling. " hey " I say avoiding eye contact. " look at me baby " Nico says. I slowly look at him my face red from embarrassment.

" I'm sorry " I say still not looking him in the eyes. " don't apologize the only people that are supposed to apologize are the so called friends of mine " he says.

" but— " I start but was cut off " no buts you shouldn't be sorry sweet boy " Nico walks over to me his hand caressing my cheek.

Nico backed up against the wall " god I wished you never met any of my asshole friends well except Patrick "

" I'm guessing he's good " I say. He nodded walking up to me " would like to meet him " he asks looking into my eyes for any glues.

" sure " I say still a little cautious " darling if you don't wanna meet him tell me " he says. I nodded " I want to meet him " I say confident.

He looks at me for a bit before walking to the door opening it peeking his head outside. Nico walks out then a familiar man walks in slowly.

" hi " he says walking towards me but keeping a good distance between us. " hey " I say awkward. " so your the guy that has Nico smiling like a teenager "

He struck out his hand for me to shake which I do. " yeah, that's me. I'm Dominic " I say introducing myself. " Patrick " he says.

He pointed to the seat by the bed side and I nodded watching as he takes a seat. " let me tell your gaming skills are phenomenal " he praises me.

" I'm not that good " I say he watched me with wide eyes then mouth opens and closes and I let out a laugh " are you blind?? " he asks.

" no " I say. When Patrick brought his hand to his lips telling me to shhh's. He tells me all the stupid and ridiculous stuff him and Nico did.

I had to hold my stomach that's hurting from laughing so hard, tears are in the corner of my eyes.

Then he moves on to tell me funny and embarrassing stories about Nico in his young teenage years.

Nico's pov

I try not to eavesdrop on there conversation but it's so hard. My heart calms down when hearing Dominic laugh at something.

It's not a fake laugh it's a genuine laugh. I pace back and forth in the hallway and think to myself it's okay, Nico. Patrick won't do anything bad.

I hear another round of laughter coming from inside the room. I hope Patrick doesn't tell him any of my embarrassing stories.

And the stupid shit I pulled out at school when I was a teenager that got me suspended for two weeks. Or the time I threw my chair at the teacher because she broke my phone. For that I got expelled moved to another school.

I acted like the perfect student for a month then went back to my old self breaking rules that kids were afraid of breaking.

I leaned back against the wall waiting for Patrick to come out. He eventually did come out smirking " what did you tell him " I ask.

" uhh......nothing to...bad " he says scratching the back of his head " I'm already regretting this " I say when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

" no you don't and he's a good one don't fuck it up " he says patting me on the back " I'm not planning on doing anything dumb " I say heading inside the room.

I see Dominic smiling softly at me " what did that idiot tell you " I ask. He brushes it off " oh nothing come on sit down I missed you " he says.

Okay he definitely told him some stuff but what exactly did he tell my boyfriend I don't know at all.

I walk over to the chair sitting down taking his hand in mine. I kiss his hand " I missed you too " I caress his hand.

There's a knock on the door and a doctor and nurse walks in " visiting hours are over " the doctor says. " okay I'll see you tomorrow baby " I say.

He holds my hand squeezing it I lean over kissing him Dominic deepens the kiss obviously not wanting me to go yet.

" promise you'll come " he asks. I nodded holding out my pinky and we seal it with a kiss.
