Dominic pov

I was so wrong.

The media found out somehow and my dad is not happy. I sighed and got in the shower and after I was done I receive a call from Nico.

I picked it up after I put a boxer on and went on and put the rest of my clothes on. I thanked him for the gift and drive to school still on the call.

I walk to class and didn't want to say goodbye I opened the door and the teacher is in there with the students ready to start her lesson.

I slumped my shoulders sighing " right on time Mr McQueen " my teacher said. " bye baby " I say sadly and blew him kiss he did the same for me and hung up.

I changed my face and went to my seat focusing on my work in class. Lunch time came and I sent Nico a text when I felt a hand on my shoulder I turned and see Melvin.

He bullied me since high school. I hate his guts so bad " how did your ass pull someone. " he then takes my French fries " hey that's mine " " no it was yours " he corrects me.

Melvin went on and talked about how great his football skills are before talking about how my mom abandoned me. I tried to hold back as no one's what really happened but his getting to my nerves.

But the last straw was when he started talking about my dad's best friend my boyfriend the love of my life. My blood began boiling I tried calming down not wanting to start a fight.

My brother is a few tables away from me and I can signal him to come and help me. I got up to go to my brother before I get myself in trouble.

Melvin shoved me to the ground I smiled now I have a reason. I got up and pushed him back a crowd starts forming around us. He punched me in the stomach I held it for a second but I punched him back.

I got on top of him and beat him up till someone pulled me off. I have to say he did land a good hit on my lip but I think we both know how the winner is.

We got sent to the principal office I rolled my eyes when Melvin made it all about him. When I got the chance to speak I just told him to check the camera and see who started the whole thing.

I got suspended for two weeks and went to my dorm room and slammed the door shut. I see someone on the couch and I went back out to check if I was really in the right room.

I walk back in see it's Nico I ran and jumped in his arms and stayed there for a while till he pulled back and cupped my face. " who did this " his face turned from happy to anger.

I looked down playing with my fingers " I-I-I got in a.....fight " I stuttered out not looking at him scared his mad. " he only busted my lip but, I'm okay. " I assured him.

He inspected my injury and asked where the first aid kid is and I told him under the kitchen sink. He took it and put me on the kitchen counter standing between my legs.

He cleaned my injuries and brought me to my room and tucked me in I grab his hand and asked him to stay with me. I fell asleep quickly in his arms feeling safe.

I wake up to my phone ringing on the bed side table I take it and answer it without checking the caller ID. " you got in a fight " my father yelled into the phone.

" I can explain " I straightened up on the bed my sleep gone instantly. I explained the situation checking every few minutes to make sure Nico didn't wake up because of me.

Dad asked then asked me about the secret admire situation and before I could answer " how did you sleep baby " my eyes widened and I turned around covering his mouth.

I mouthed to him " dad on the phone " and I hope dad didn't recognize Nico's voice. " is that Nico " he questioned you can hear the anger coming through his voice " No, no it's not " I said quickly.

A little to quick for my father's liking I can here it in his voice when he answered back " no it's him I wasn't born yesterday Dominic " dad said angry fuck I thought and look at Nico.
