Life at Hogwarts has been quiet lately. I mean, Sirius Black did invade the Gryffindor common room, but it's not like it's a big deal or anything. He's only here for Harry Potter, anyway.
On a more exciting note, Mattheo and I have been dating for about a month now, and I'm finally getting used to it. The boys like to tease us every now and then, but I don't mind. We're all in Hogsmeade for the day, and we decided to have some fun together.
We started the day with a snowball fight, which I clearly won. Then we headed to the Three Broomsticks.
"Me and the girls are going to grab a table," I announced to the boys. "Can you get me a Butterbeer?" I asked Mattheo, and he nodded.
"We're going to have to join two tables together," Astoria calculated. "We have eleven people."
My friends and I pushed the tables together and sat down. Stephanie turned to Sophia and asked, "So, how are things with Damon?"
Sophia started dating Damon, a fourth-year student, and I'm not sure I think it's a good idea. But I'm happy for her.
"Things are fine," Sophia said, giggling. "He's so romantic!"
"Aww, Sophie's in love!" I teased.
"I'm the only single one in the group," Stephanie said, cringing. "It feels like I have to be the mother of the group."
I laughed. "That's a position that I will always hold."
Mattheo appeared with two drinks in his hand. "Things change," he said with a smirk.
I took the drink from him, smiling. The boys then appeared with their drinks and some for the girls.
I noticed that Draco and Astoria weren't really talking. Draco had his hands on the table, and Astoria was completely facing away from him.
"What happened with them?" I whispered to Enzo.
"Astoria is mad at Draco because all the girls flirt with him, but he doesn't do anything about it," Enzo replied. "He says that it's too tiring to keep arguing with them, and that he just ignores them, and that she should as well. She claims that he isn't focused on their relationship."
That's stupid. Astoria has a reason to be mad, but she shouldn't say that Draco's not focusing on their relationship. If she doesn't want girls all around him, then she should talk to the other girls herself.
"I know, it's dumb," Enzo added, seeing my annoyed face.
Once we finished our drinks, we went shopping for clothes. I got a few tops and pants. While the other girls looked at jewelry, I walked over to Mattheo, who was looking at a couple of shirts and jeans.
"You should get them," I said, taking his hand.
"I won't use it," he said, putting it back on the rack.
"Yes, you will. You only wear black. Get some blue jeans, maybe a white shirt. What's your size? I'm getting it for you."
I let go of his hand and got a few pairs that I found that would look good on him.
"No, Isa..." He tried grabbing my hand, but I pulled away in time.
I went back to Mattheo with two large bags in my hand.
"Really? Two bags?" He chuckled.
"That's me showing that I care," I smiled.
"And I appreciate it, but let me carry it," he said, reaching for the bags.
"Nope! I bought it for you, so I'm carrying it. I went out of my way to do it, so I'm carrying it."
He picked me up and spun me around.
