In case you don't know, I've already dropped the first HxH chapter. Originally I was planning to drop both at the same time yet I decided against it.

*WHAM*
Pulling his fist back, Yuji continued to push forward, matching Todo's pace as they occasionally sent an attack out to whatever straggler attempted to interrupt their path.
"So, you sure you know where we're going?" Yuji asked, landing perfectly after delivering a vicious drop-kick that the rouge was sure to feel for a week at least.
"Of course!" Todo shouted, for someone with an IQ as high as his, memorizing a path was lightwork. His grin grew wider as a hefty aura began to set in, the malice being impossible to miss. "Get ready!"
The two slid around the corner, instantly spotting a tall man dressed in a white cloak at the end of the street. Even with the cloak covering his body, you could tell the man had a decent physique.
"Ah, so the young sorcerers have arrived." The man said, his voice was lower than expected and it almost seemed as if he was saddened by something. "My name is Akira Yamamoto, a sorcerer from the Heian era."
The two sorcerers prepared to fight as Yamamoto turned to face them, ripping his cloak off to reveal his black tactical attire beneath it. "It seems as if I'll be your opponent for tonight." Akira said, a seemingly permanent frown etched on his face complimented by his black eyes, void of emotion.
Yuji hadn't had much experience with strong opponents, yet the vibe Yamamoto gave off was enough to put him on edge. "Why are you guys doing this? You're putting the lives of everyone in this city at risk!"
Akira remained unphased by the outburst. "Any lives lost will be for the greater good. Once our strength is back to its maximum and we fully incarnate on our hosts we'll be able to properly serve Lord Sukuna." He stated, his conviction unwavering.
Yuji glared in response and lowered himself, seemingly getting ready to launch forward. Standing at his side, Todo hovered his hands over each other, making no moves to stop Yuji.
Yamamoto matched his glare. 'Using outside help in a battle against a bunch of kids just goes to show how far we've fallen... Will he rush forward despite not knowing my technique?' Slowly, Yamamoto opened his stance up, squatting slightly in order to grapple any attempts to rush him head-on.
The ground beneath Yuji shattered and in an instant, he appeared beside Akira, aiming a kick intended for Akira's side.
Exerting himself a bit more, the rogue sorcerer brought his forearm up, blocking the kick swiftly before grabbing onto the boy's leg and jetting his free hand forward, attempting to strike Yuji in his gut-
*CLAP*
Much to Akira's shock, instead of punching some kid, his fist met and shattered a rock, sending fragments through the air, one scratching the side of his face.
"Analysis, brother?" Todo asked, pulling his hands apart as Yuji remained crouched at his side, rubbing his chin in contemplation.
"He has some sort of defensive ability up." Yuji commented, his glare transitioning from one of anger to suspicion. "I don't know how to explain it but I doubt the defense is coming from him directly, a gut feeling."
Todo nodded, trusting Yuji's words. "It's completely possible he has the support of other curse users. We'll just have to try and find them without tipping them off that we're aware of them."
Yuji raised his hand up, gesturing for Todo to stay back. "Hold on, I want to try that again. Stay back here in case I need you to get me out again."
Rubbing his cheek, Akira recovered from his initial confusion and instead focused his attention on the taller scarred male. 'That definitely had something to do with him. Facing two opponents, one unknown and the other being extremely strong is a huge downside.'
