'Everything around me was desolated, what was once a powerful kingdom was now in ruins. People were screaming and running for their lives as men in armor attacked them mercilessly. I look around me and saw millions of bodies littered the ground. The smell of blood was thick in the air, the screams of the children haunt me. I wanted to help but as I rushed over to stop the armored men, they just passed through me as if I was made out of thin air, I tried pleading to them but no one could either hear me nor see me. I was terrified at the scene before me, so much suffering, so much destruction, I cried as I fell to my knees. Although, everything is so new to me, I had a sense of connection to this place. I felt like it was my responsibility to help them but what can I do?'

"BEEP!BEEP!" The alarm clock sounded waking Lucy up from her terrible nightmare. She gasped as she woke, looking around her, making sure that it wasn't real. She sighed when she finally realized that it was just a dream. "BEEP!BEEP!" The alarm clock continued. Annoyed, Lucy slapped the alarm off and got out of bed. She got ready for school and went downstairs to grab breakfast.

"Good morning Lucy," Her mother greeted her as she placed a plate of french toasts on the dining table.

"Morning mom," Lucy greeted back.

"Good morning sweetie," Her dad greeted as he took a sip of his morning coffee.

"Good morning Dad," Lucy smiled at her dad as she sat down and began eating.

"Did you have a good night's sleep?" Her mother asks as she gave her a glass of milk.

Lucy winced at the thought of her nightmare and she hesitated, debating whether she should to tell it to her parents or not, and after a few minutes she finally spoke up.

"Actually, no."

"What's wrong sweetheart?" Her dad asked, placing down his newspaper as he examined his daughter's troubled face.

"Last night I had a terrible nightmare," Lucy expressed.

"What was it about?" Mr. Dire asked cocking up an eyebrow.

"It was-I was..." She started but sighed "Never mind."

"Sweetie, you know you can tell us anything. And if it's troubling you, then you should let it out."

Lucy looked at both of her parents.

"I was in an ancient kingdom...but everything...was destroyed..." Lucy began, Mr. Dire sat up straight as he exchanged glances with his wife.

"Ancient kingdom?" Her father asked.

"Yeah...and...I think...that I was in a battle scene. There was these people, who were running for their lives...heartless men were killing them. Their screams were horrible! I wanted to help them, but when I tried to...I realized...that I was just a hologram and no one could see me!"

"Lucy," Her father called her

"It was so terrible dad! The streets were covered with dead bodies! The smell of blood was so horridly thick! Children were begging for their lives to be spared but no one paid any heed to them!"

"Lucy!"Her dad calls her again but Lucy couldn't hear it, being too lost in a trauma.

"Everything was done before me, so many innocent lives were killed and all I could do was watch! They were calling for help but their cries were all in vain. No one! Not anyone was there to save them-"

"LUCY!" Her dad shouted, snapping her back from her thoughts.

Lucy blinked a few times and was confused by the shocked look that her parents were giving her, then she slowly began to feel her surroundings and noticed that her body was cold, she looked down at herself and saw that ice had form all around her.

She quickly got up, easily breaking free off the ice that was holding her down. She, herself was shocked. Lucy look herself over, frightened at what had just happened. She looked at her parents and saw that they were discussing among themselves very seriously.

"Lucy, how did you do that?" Her dad asked,

"I-I d-don't k-know," She answered stuttering.

Her father held a straight face as he looked over at his wife and then at Lucy.

"It's time," He finally spoke.
