'Darkness...everything was pitch black, I couldn't see a thing. I looked around me for any sign of life, just anything to ensure that I wasn't alone. "Hello?" I called out, hoping to get an answer from someone, anyone. But to my disappointment, there was nothing...nothing at all, I was alone in a dark empty oblivion.I tried to calm myself down, but I couldn't help it, I broke into a run. Hoping to get away from it all...but everywhere I ran, the darkness followed me. I ran and ran until my legs finally gave up on me, I fell to the floor and cried. When all hope seemed lost, a sudden light appeared...I wiped away my tears and curiosity got the best of me, as I mustered up all of my energy and walked over to the faint light. I reached out my hand as I got closer, but then it got so bright that it blinded me. When the light finally calmed, I opened my eyes to find myself in a white hallway. Everything now was lit up and I could see what was around me, miles and miles of whiteness trailing off into the distance. Feeling slightly relieve by the sudden brightness, I started to walk slowly through the hallways. I walked and walked when suddenly I felt a presence behind me. I slowly turned around but there was nobody there.
"AHHHHHHhhhhhh!!!!" Someone screamed eerily from down the hall, goosebumps had formed all over my arms and legs...I was afraid of finding out who else was with me in this oblivion. "HELP ME!!!" Came a cry for help, I jumped in surprise but wait a second, that sounded like Diana!
"DIANA!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. "AHHHHHHHHHhhhhhh!!!" She screamed again. Without a second thought, I ran towards her, following the direction of her voice. I didn't care whether I was exhausted or not, my best friend was in danger and I can't afford to lose her again. I ran and ran until I reached a fork in the path and so I stopped and wondered which path should I take, I pulled my hair in frustration. "DIANA!" I yelled again, hoping I could get an answer from her. "LUCYYYY!!!" She called back, her voice came from the left but as I was about to take the path on the left, I heard a faint whisper calling me. "Lucy...Lucy...Lucy...Lucy...Lucy...Lucy..." The voice chanted over and over, then I felt a sudden pull that tells me to go down the path that's on the right. I began to walk slowly down the path where the voice was chanting my name. I followed the pull and walked and walked...but wait...I have to save Diana! She's in danger! I quickly snapped out of it and ran back the other way. But not before I took one last look at the path where the whispers still chanted my name.
I then ran and ran until I reached a room where a girl was laid on the ground, I quickly ran over to her and noticed that it was Diana, she was hurt!! "Diana!!!" I called out and noticed that her chest wasn't rising, she's not breathing! She's dead! I embraced my now dead friend and cried and cried, "DIANA!!! I cried out as I choked on my tears. "Don't leave me!!!" I hugged her tight and stroke her hair. Then I felt a movement coming from Diana, "Diana?!" I called, then in a glimpse, she stood and had her hand wrapped around my neck, choking me. I was shocked at what had happened, it was all so fast,"Di-a-na!" I forced out, she was holding on to my neck so tightly. Then I see it, she was dead, her brown eyes were lifeless and her body was cold. Yet she was still mysteriously moving? She tightened her grip on my neck, and I couldn't breath! I struggled to get out from her grip but it was no use, she was too strong! "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!" She yelled for the world to hear, her voice echoed through the room, her grip tightened even more, crushing my neck, if I wasn't dead before, I was surely dead now...'
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhh!!!!" Lucy screamed as she woke up in bed, she looked around her room trying to assure herself that it was just a dream but something caught her eye, it was a wreath. A wreath which had a 'sorry for your loss' sash on it, Lucy had bought it the other day, so she could give it to Diana's parents during the funeral, and she burst into tears as she realized that her dream was real. Diana was dead, she was gone forever! She sobbed and cried at the loss of her best friend.
