The snow had melted away and the sun was shining through, winter was over and spring had arrived. And as expected of things, school was back in session. In Quinz Academy, students were buzzing around catching up on what they had missed.
"Good morning class!" Mrs June greeted cheerfully as she entered the twelve grade's homeroom, she was a pretty woman in her late twenties, with beautiful strawberry blonde hair and hazel eyes.
"Good morning Mrs June," Some of the students answered back.
"So, I assumed everyone had a great holiday?" Mrs June chirped, a few of them nod, while others didn't bother.
"Well, isn't that swell! Anyways, class today we've got a new student here in Quinz Academy and lucky for you, he's a twelve grader!" Mrs June smiled and opened the door, where a tall, well-built guy stood waiting. Mrs. June motioned him to come inside and when he did, the whole class stared in amazement at the gorgeous specimen that had just walked in.
"Hey everybody! My name's Christopher Williams but my friends call me Chris." Chris said with a smile, girls sigh dreamily at this. For indeed he was handsome, he had black hair which seemed to shine in the light and a gorgeous smile. He had intense eyebrows and a strong jawline, but what made him even more gorgeous was his eyes, he had the most captivating eyes which were in the purest shade of violet.
"Alright Christopher why don't you take a seat right next to Lucy Evans."
"YES!" Lucy Evans, captain of the cheerleaders, cried happily. Chris raised one of his eyebrows at her reaction, Lucy Evans however was unashamed. Chris started to walked over to the seat beside her when Mrs June called him to stop.
"I'm so sorry, who I meant to say was Lucy Dire," Mrs June said sheepishly.
"WHAT?!" Lucy Evans exclaimed, Chris rolled his eyes.
"Which one's Lucy Dire?" Chris asked in his deep voice.
"She's the one by the window," Mrs June replied pointing to Lucy who had on her earphones and who was looking out the window.
"You mean the freak by the window," Lucy Evans said, causing all the cheerleaders to giggle.
"Quiet Miss Evans!" Mrs June scolded, Lucy Evans rolled her eyes.
Chris walked over and sat down next to Lucy, he looked over at her curiously. She had long curly brown hair that was tied in a messy bun and a fair complexion, she was skinny and she had bags under her eyes, she was pretty, could be beautiful if only she had on more weight and got some rest.
Just then the bell rang and Mrs June had left the room, students were going their separate ways to their next classes. Chris was about to go too, when he noticed that the girl beside him hadn't move at all and realized that she was in her own world, completely oblivious to what has been going on around her. He then leaned forward and tapped her earphone that was in her right ear. Lucy was annoyed, annoyed that someone had bothered her, she quickly turned to look at the cause of disturbance. When she did though, instead of scowling at the person, she gasped. She looked at the handsome guy before her, but that wasn't enough to get rid of her annoyance.
"What?!" She spat, taking of her earphones. Chris was taken aback by her rude response.
"Class is gonna start soon I assumed you don't wanna be late for your next class," He replied smoothly, Lucy's glare soften a bit as she noticed that the room was empty except for the two of them.
"Right...thanks," She said softly as she quickly got up from her seat and went out of the classroom, Chris followed her.
"Wait a minute!" Chris called.
"What?!" Lucy snapped, Chris furrowed his eyebrows at her.
"You know you don't have to snap every time I call you," Lucy rolled her eyes and continued walking.
"Hey, hey! Wait a second!" Lucy stopped and faced him.
"What?" She asked trough gritted teeth.
"I was wondering maybe you could tell me where the Biology lab is?" Chris asked.
"Biology? What grade?"
"Twelve obviously!"
"I don't remember seeing you in class," Lucy replied.
"What?! We were just inside the classroom a few seconds ago."
"Well, how should I know? You could be just a lost kid who happens to be passing by," Lucy huffed, Chris raised an eyebrow.
"Seriously? A passerby?" Chris questioned, Lucy rolled her eyes.
"Come on."
"You're having Biology next?"
"No, Chemistry...Of course I'm having Biology next why else would I asked you to come on?!"
"Okay, okay. Man, you really need to cool off," Chris said, Lucy glared at him.
"By the way, my name's Christopher Williams, but my friends call me Chris, you can call me Chris though."
"Whatever, okay here we are. Since you're the new kid, I'm gonna cut you some slack but I don't want you talking to me ever again."
"Huh? Wait why?!" Chris furrowed his eyebrows.
"Because I'm the class loner, and I love being alone, Christopher..." She drawled, "...And FYI, I am not your friend," Those were her last words before she went inside the room. Chris stood there, stunned.
"Interesting..." Chris whispered to himself with a ghost of a smile creeping up to his lips.
