Sage Moore|Kalani's Home|Sept. 3rd
After training non stop and long hours at MiMis Seduction, I finally got a manger who should be able to run my establishment when I'm unable to be there. Which I typically wasn't able to, I had my second in command; Solitude. She was a manger in another business— not a strip club but at least she had the experience. She already informed me when she auditioned that she was working for quick and easy money seeing as she had to adopt her sisters son after she passed. I could relate to her and definitely felt like she deserved the position.
Outside of that, I just landed in Atlanta with Dominick so we could meet up with the girls. This was also a little trip for Dominick before he started schooling, my baby was first grader. I was first to be at Kalani's house while La'riah still had a couple things to do before she actually arrived. I was a little apprehensive of even going since I had some sort of stomach bug going on. For like the last two days I've just been waking up and throwing up. Montana told me I should be going to the doctor or hospital instead of Atlanta but, fuck it we ball.
"I know that ain't my girl!!!" Kalani screamed once she opened the door, "and my little baby! Hi Domo"
Dominick cheesed running to her legs and squeezing them, prompting her to pick him up and letting his body rest on her protruding belly.
"Hey mamaaaa, look at that belly my goodness!" I said in awe while rubbing her softly, Kalani was five months pregnant now and very evidently showing from the previous time I saw her. She was glowing and seemed so genuinely happy.
"Big mama getting big" she chuckled before closing the door behind me. "I've actually been feeling so good, I was scared at first but.. the thought of my family expanding is making me so happy" she expressed while sitting down on her couch.
"I'm actually so proud for you. Motherhood is nothing easy and you carrying it well" I rubbed her hand as we smiled at each other.
"Don't make me cry Sage for real." She chuckled while sniffling.
"Oh— I'm so sorry don't cry kaykay oh my goodness" I slightly chuckled from how fast she went from happy to sad, it truly was a hormonal switch.
"Don't laugh at me!" She playfully hit my arm before clicking on her remote. "So what you been up to in New York?"
"Just running the club, taking care of Dominick, getting him settled in his new school— he's growing up so fast.. but outside of that just finally being able to live my life"
My story wasn't an easy one, and I didn't even expect it to make it this far. I'm just grateful that I'm even here today living the live I paved with the help of the people around me.
"Yes he is!" Kaylani cheesed while pulling at Dominick's cheeks, he let out a high pitched giggle before wrapping his arms around her neck. "I'm actually gonna cry, I hope my baby is this sweet to me. You're so sweet Domo" she whispered the last part to him before giving him a kiss on his forehead.
