Five years after the honeymoon|DKH

"Coi bubbys calling you" Dominick groaned after hearing Sage yell for coi once again. She was so busy today, even Montana was and that left the two bored kids— well, bored.

"I don't wanna go" she frowned, "she's gonna make me put on a dress again. Something that bothered coi deeply was dresses and skirts. Nobody knew why, she said it made her uncomfortable which sage understood and would dress her in cute little jumpsuits but on special occasions they had an understanding that she'd be wearing a dress or skirt, per her mothers request.

"You'll be fine, it's only for a few hours" Dominick smiled, hoping to reassure his sister. Her frown deepened but she trusted her big brother,  he was her best friend after all. With that, they both jogged into the house seeing Sage in the kitchen, blasting an older r&b artist named Jhene Aiko while Montana was tidying up.

"Coi! You didn't hear me calling you?" She spoke frantically, trying to focus both on the noodles that were boiling and her daughter who was being a bit stubborn.

"I'm sorry" she softly spoke, tightening her grip around Dominick's hand.

Sage sighed feeling bad. She put the top back on the noodles before making her way over to the pair. "Look, I'm not mad baby. I just thought we had an understanding that on special occasions you'd put the dress on for mommy." She comforted while rubbing her slumped shoulders.

"Okay mommy" she pouted, feeling bad as well for previously ignoring her mother.

"If you don't want to I won't make you" she sighed within a smile. She didn't understand why her daughter hated dresses but she wouldn't force them if it was resulting to this.

"No it's okay, I'll put it on" she promised, running up stairs to her room to change. Dominick stood awkwardly not really know what to do now.

"You wanna help me grate the cheese?" She offered with a friendly smile. Domo shrugged, deciding to help her. He enjoyed cooking anyways.

The waves comfortably crashed against the shoreline. The view something they all heavily enjoyed waking up to every single morning. The kids played along side it, without worry since this was the Harris private beach attached to their home on the island they saved up so much money many years ago to buy.

"Y'all really living the life man" Makiah let out a soft chuckle, letting Montana know she was genuinely proud of the person he become. They— Montana, Makiah, and Braxton, were on the patio of his house sharing a blunt like old times.

"Blessed ain't even the word foe" Montana chuckled right along with her. She was there for it all, the struggle, the fight, the pain, all to get to where he needed. "Couldn't have done it without yall"

"I'm sayin'," Braxton joined in, feeling the love from the group. "Niggas got kids nd' shit. One on the way" he pointed to Makiah who couldn't help but smile. La'riah was currently nine months pregnant— ready to pop whenever, and Makiah? She couldn't wait for her baby girl to enter this world through her beautiful mommy.

"Mhmm, can't wait to drop her off at her uncles houses" she smirked towards the two men who held a frown.

"Well no.." Montana slightly shook his head, "maybe UNCLE not uncles" he chuckled.

"You about to push OUR unborn niece onto me already??" Braxton asked, taken aback. The group erupted into laughter from their unserious conversation while the girls watched them from afar.

"We really made it gigi" Kalani spoke, almost mirroring the exact conversation their partners were engaging in.

"Yes we did" Sage smiled, embracing both kalani and La'riah in a group hug. This was more than she could've prayed for.

On a private island away from all the drama and trauma she had to endure the last decade, two beautiful kids she was more than happy for, an amazing handsome husband who respected and worshiped her every move, reconnection with her grandma and new found friends who were her family. What else could she have dreamed that she did not accomplish?

With her newly found bliss, she continued on the night with joy. Ensuring they all had the best times of their lives together tonight as they wouldn't know when they'd be able to do it again. It was still kinda weird to her, she was just a kid not that long ago? This whole adulthood was scary but she had been ready and couldn't wait what the world had to bring her.
